NOTIFICATION U/S 112 H.P. POLICE ACT

 

                     Keeping in view the visit of Hon'ble President of India and perception of security threats I, Abhishek Dular, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Shimla, District Shimla by the powers vested in me by section 112 H.P. Police Act, 2007, do hereby declare the entire road from the Retreat to Nav Bahar Chowk  & Annandale to H.P. University via Kennedy Chowk and Advance Studies  as complete NO PARKING ZONE w.e.f. 20-05-2013 to 25-05-2013.

 

1.      An ACCIDENT case FIR No. 72/13 is registered at Police Station Dhalli Shimla on 17-05-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Lalit Kumar S/o Sh. Balak Ram R/o VPO Shakra, Teh Karsog, Distt Mandi, alleging therein that on 16-05-13 when he went to Tatapani along with persons namely Hem Prakash @ Sonu, Lekh Raj, Surinder Kumar @ Rinku & Laiq Ram in vehicle Spark No. HP-14A-7857driven by Laiq Ram. On 17-05-13 at 4:15 AM near Panohi Pul above driver lose his control and above vehicle fell down from the road due to rash driving. In this accident all above sustained injuries and one Lekh Raj died on the spot. Case is being investigated by ASI Vijay Kumar I/C PP Suni, PS Dhalli, Shimla.

2.      A THEFT case FIR No. 104/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla on 16-05-13 U/S 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Hari Om Verma R/o Lower Bazaar, Shimla, alleging therein that when he was going to Tatapani and his wife Anju was on the shop, some unknown person has stolen away one necklace and ear rings from his shop.

3.      During last 24 hours 208 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act for the violation of Traffic rules and 05 persons was challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005). The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV & COPTA Act is Rs. 32,700/-.

4.      One person named Mohan Lal {Patwari Settlement Office (Forest) Dhalli} S/o Sh. Hiun Ram R/o C/o Verma Niwas, Mashobra, Shimla, has been arrested U/S 114(5) Police Act at Police Station Dhalli, Shimla.

5.      On 16-05-13 one FIRE INCIDENT report has been received at Police Station New Shimla in which a Building of Sham Singh near Sai Bhawan, Sec 4, New Shimla gutted fire. In the above incident total loss of property is Rs. 2,00,000/-(app). There is no loss of life.
