Crime Report on Oct. 13, 2018

1.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 110/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 12.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Adam Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Balak Ram R/o Village Kanrot, PO Halnidhar, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla stated therein that on 12.10.2018 at about 10-30 PM, one vehicle No. HP62-4660 (Pick-UP) met with an accident at Firnu Mod and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Perminder @ Pummy. In this accident, one person namely Sanjeev Dogra S/o Sh. Amar Singh Dogra R/o Village Kanrot, PO Halnidhar, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla, age 36 years, died on the spot and driver Parminder @ Pummy sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Devraj, I/O PP Narkanda.

2.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 125/18 has been registered at PS East Shimla on 12.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Narender Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Shiv Saran R/o Shiv Cottage, House No. 64 & 65, near Jain Trader Panthaghati, Shimla-9, age 37 years stated therein that on 12.10.2018 at about 06-50 PM, one Motorcycle No. HR-17A-7480 driven by Rajveer, came rashly with negligent driving from Mehli side and hit his mother near Panthaghati, sustained injuries to her. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram, I/O PP Kasumpti, Shimla.    

3.  During  last 24 hours 352 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 137,  fine realized Rs. 62,500/- and 20 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,000/-.

1.    Accused i) Ritesh Kumar S/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Village Kalara, PO & Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla & ii) Kartik S/o Sh. Kartar Singh R/o Village Nao Dhar, PO Ruslah, Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 67/18 Dt. 05.10.2018 U/S 302 341 323 506 120B 34 IPC & 3, 4 SC/ST (POA) Act at PS Nerwa, are remanded in judicial custody upto 12.10.2018, by the Ld. Court. 

2. Accused i) Sushil Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Krishan Verma R/o Village Chabit, PO Janedghat, Sub-Tehsil Junga, District Shimla, age 38 years, ii) Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Geeta Ram R/o Village Chambi, PO Janedghat,  Sub-Tehsil Junga, District Shimla, iii) Yugal Kishore S/o Sh. Rama Nand R/o Village Chambi PO Janedghat,  Sub-Tehsil Junga, District Shimla & iv) Anil Dutt S/o Sh. Roop Ram R/o Village Katola, PO Janedghat, Tehsil & District Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 208/18 Dt. 09.10.2018 U/S 379, 34 IPC & 41, 42 IF Act at PS Dhalli, are remanded in Police custody upto 14.10.2018,by the Ld. Court.

3.  Accused Raju @ Pinku S/o Sh. Mila Ram R/o Village Daduhi PO Bharadu, Tehsil Sunder Nagar, District Mandi. HP, age 32 years, arrested in case FIR No. 68/18 Dt. 12.10.2018 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Nerwa, is remanded in police custody for upto 15.10.2018, by the Ld. Court.
