Crime Report on Oct. 12, 2018

1.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 298/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 11.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sushil Kumar S/o Sh. Lachhi Ram R/o Village Chaukhla, PO Damkadi, Tehsil & District Solan, Age 53 years stated therein that he is driver in Pvt. Bus No. HP64E-8999, since last 15 years. On 11.10.2018, he was going on his route from Shimla to Solan. At about 05-20 PM, when they reached near Shoghi, at the same time, a Alto Car No. HP03B-0482 driven by Mohan Lal Dogra R/o Shanti Niwas, Kamna Nagar, Chakkar, Shimla, came rashly with negligent driving in wrong direction and hit with his bus, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by SI Vijay Kumar, I/O PS West Shimla.  

2.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 92/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 12.10.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Balbir Singh Chaudhari S/o Sh. Hakkam Singh R/o Village Tayar, PO Khurain Tehsil Bangana District Una A/P Dhaba owner at Anti Tehsil Jubbal Shimla stated therein that on 12.10.2018 at about 09-45 AM, he alongwith his daughter were stood on the roadside at Anti Bazar. At the same time, one A/F Tipper came rashly with negligent driving from Hatkoti side and hit him and his daughter, sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Jubbal.

3.     BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 68/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 11.10.2018 U/S 457 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ankush Sharma S/o Sh. Mila Ram R/o Village Khokha PO Ruslah Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 11/12.10.2018,  a person namely Raju & Pinku S/o Sh. Mila Ram R/o Village Daduhi PO Bharadu, Tehsil Sunder Nagar, District Mandi. HP, age 32 years, broken the lock of his shop and stolen one pair silver Payal, one gold ring and other articles. Above accused has been arrested by the police and recovered some stolen articles from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand, I/O PS Nerwa.

4. During  last 24 hours 310 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 126,  fine realized Rs. 55,300/- and 17 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,600/-.

1.    Accused i) Ritesh Kumar S/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Village Kalara, PO & Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla & ii) Kartik S/o Sh. Kartar Singh R/o Village Nao Dhar, PO Ruslah, Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 67/18 Dt. 05.10.2018 U/S 302 341 323 506 120B 34 IPC & 3, 4 SC/ST (POA) Act at PS Nerwa, are remanded in judicial custody upto 12.10.2018, by the Ld. Court. 

2.  Accused i) Sushil Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Krishan Verma R/o Village Chabit, PO Janedghat, Sub-Tehsil Junga, District Shimla, age 38 years, ii) Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Geeta Ram R/o Village Chambi, PO Janedghat,  Sub-Tehsil Junga, District Shimla, iii) Yugal Kishore S/o Sh. Rama Nand R/o Village Chambi PO Janedghat,  Sub-Tehsil Junga, District Shimla iv) Anil Dutt S/o Sh. Roop Ram R/o Village Katola, PO Janedghat, Tehsil & District Shimla  & v) Prem Chand S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Neharakumhali, PO Janedghat, Sub-Tehsil Junga, District Shimla, age 59 years arrested in case FIR No. 208/18 Dt. 09.10.2018 U/S 379, 34 IPC & 41, 42 IF Act at PS Dhalli.  Accused mentioned in Sr. No. I to IV remanded in Police custody upto 14.10.2018 and Sr. V released on bail, by the Ld. Court.

3.  Accused Raju @ Pinku S/o Sh. Mila Ram R/o Village Daduhi PO Bharadu, Tehsil Sunder Nagar, District Mandi. HP, age 32 years, arrested in case FIR No. 68/18 Dt. 12.10.2018 U/S 457 380 IPC at PS Nerwa, is remanded in police custody for three days upto 15.10.2018, by the Ld. Court.
