Crime Report on Oct. 10, 2019

1.  A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 290/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 09.10.2018 U/S 341 147 149 IPC on the statement of Sh. Prem Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Suharu Ram R/o Village Gyana, PO Mangu, Tehsil Arki, District Solan A/P Posted as Security Guard, HP University Summer Hill Shimla stated therein that on 09.10.2018 at 09-30 AM, he alongwith other staff members was on traffic arrangements duty on the main entrance gate of HPU at Summer Hill Chowk. During this, some activists of SFI organization and drivers of vehicles No. HP09C-4652, HP12H-8220, HP09C-0746 & HP10A-3047 came there and  obstructed the road by parked their vehicle on the Main Entrance gate of HPU.  They have shouted slogans against the HPU Administration and sit on dharna on the road. In between some activists of ABVP organization, have also joined the dharna. The case is being investigated by HC Mehar Singh, I/O PP Summer Hill Shimla.

2.  A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 291/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 10.10.2018 U/S 341 147 149 IPC on the statement of Sh. Hem Raj S/o Sh. Chando Ram R/o  Village Judda, PO Vakani, Tehsil & District Chamba A/P Asstt. Security Officer, HPU Summer Hill Shimla, age 46 years stated therein that today at about 09-10 AM, he alongwith other staff members was on traffic control duty at Main Entrance Gate at HPU Summer Hill Shimla. During this, activists of SFI organization came their and obstructed the road by putting barricades on the road and started shouting slogans against the HPU Administration. The case is being investigated by HC Manoj Kumar, I/O PP Summer Hill, Shimla.     

3.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 137/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 09.10.2018 U/S 279 337 338 IPC & 187 MV Act on the rukka of HC Amit Kumar, I/O PS Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 09.10.2018 at about 01-00 PM, a Bus No. HP63D-0362 hit a Motorcycle No. HP10B-1058 near Seema Rohru Chirgaon and run away from the spot. In this accident, Motorcycle Rider sustained grievous injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Amit Kumar, I/O PS Rohru.

4.  During  last 24 hours 260 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 138,  fine realized Rs. 62,300/- and 18 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,800/-. 

FOLLOW UP:

1.   Accused i) Ritesh Kumar S/o Sh. Mohan Lal R/o Village Kalara, PO & Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla & ii) Kartik S/o Sh. Kartar Singh R/o Village Nao Dhar, PO Ruslah, Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 67/18 Dt. 05.10.2018 U/S 302 341 323 506 120B 34 IPC & 3, 4 SC/ST (POA) Act at PS Nerwa, are remanded in police custody upto 12.10.2018, by the Ld. Court. 

2.  Accused i) Sushil Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Krishan Verma R/o Village Chabit, PO Janedghat, Sub-Tehsil Junga, District Shimla, age 38 years and ii) Prem Chand S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Neharakumhali, PO Janedghat, Sub-Tehsil Junga, District Shimla, age 59 years, arrested in case FIR No. 208/18 Dt. 09.10.2018 U/S 379, 34 IPC & 41, 42 IF Act at PS Dhalli, are being produced before Ld. Court today.
