Crime Repot on August 20, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 75/15 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 19.08.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered on the Rukka of SI Ganga Dev Negi, SHO PS Kumarsain alleging therein that on 19.08.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/traffic checking duty. When they reached near  Thekhar Nala one Motorcycle No. HP-64B-4444 was coming from Luhri alongwith two persons namely  Prince Malothra (Motorcycle rider)  S/o Sh. Ram Krishan R/O Vill. Surat Gaon Khundi dhar Santi, Tehsil & Distt. Solan, age about 27 years and Rajat Kanwar S/o Sh. Dlip Singh R/o  House No 78/8 Vill. Kashmali Salogni Tehsil & PS Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmour age about 22 years have been intercepted by them. During search 200 gram charas recovered from the possession of Prince Malhotra. The Case is being investigated by SI Ganga Dev Negi, SHO  PS Kumarsain.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 288/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 20.08.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC  on the statement of Sh. Karam Chand S/o Sh. Rameshwar R/o Village Nagal Suketi, PO Moginand, Tehsil Nahan, Distt. Shimla, age 23 years  alleging therein that today he was going towards Panipat from Tikkar in his Eicher Truck No. HP-71-132. Due to break down, he parked his Truck on the roadside near Mashobra Bifurcation.  At about 02-00 AM, one vehicle No. HP-10A-1997 collide with his truck due to rash & negligent driving of Bhupesh R/o Village Shalaan, PO Pujarli No.-2, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla. In this accident car driver Bhupesh, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Lalit Kumar, I/O PS Dhalli.

3. An Accident case FIR No 126/15 has been registered at PS Theog today on 20-08-2015 U/S 279,304 A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mohan Lal S/o Sh. Dulachi Ram R/o Village Gichhana, PO Makdog, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla stated therein that on 17.08.2015, his uncle namely Ram Lal went to Shimla in his vehicle No. HP-08A-1567. Today he came to know that above vehicle met with an accident near Dhanaut & rolled down 300 meter from the road. In this accident, his uncle Ram Lal died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Sanjeev Kumar, I/C PP Deha.

4. A Trespass case FIR No. 60/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 19.08.2015 U/S  447, 188 IPC on the application of Ranger Forest  Officer, Rohru Forest Range stated therein that one person namely Ishwar Singh S/o Sh. Bindu Ram R/O Gawas, Ramesh s/o Kamla Nand R/O Bagi  and  Jagar Nath s/o Keshav Ram R/O Bagi disobey the order of Hon'ble High Court and plucked approximately 345 Apple boxes  from forest land. The case is being investigated by HC Puran Singh, I/O PS Rohru.

5. A Cheating case FIR No. 74/15 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 19.08.2015 U/S 417,465,468,471 IPC. One license  No. 5120110035101 of driver Krishan Kumar S/o Jai Parkash has been taken in possession in challan at PS New Shimla.  Subsequently, the license  has been sent to RLA office Shimla for verification. As per report of RLA office Shimla (SDM Shimla Rural) said license is not issued or endorsed by their office.  Therefore, this is not a genuine license. The case is being investigated by SHO PS New Shimla.

6. A Forest Act case FIR No. 285/15 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 19.09.2015 U/S 447 IPC & 33 IF Act on the complaint of Sh. Neela Dass A/P Forest Guard, Kamyana Beat, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 17/18.08.2015, villagers of Farlaida illegally constructed about 390 meter long & 4 meter breadth road on the forest land at RP-19 Dummi and destroyed the small plants of Devdar. The case is being investigated by SI Rajneesh Thakur, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar.

7. A Burglary case FIR No. 286/15 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 20.08.2015 U/S 457,380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Virender Singh Bhimta S/o Sh. Ram Saran Bhimta  A/P Salesman in English Wine Shop at Lakkar Bazar Shimla alleging therein that today 20.08.2015 at about 03-00 AM, salesman Rattan Singh informed him that he  caught red handed  three persons namely Arun, Rahul & Tarun during theft from English wine shop & recovered a bag with liquor & Beer bottles from their possession. The case is being investigated by I/C PP Lakkar Bazar.

8. During last 24 hours 347 vehicles challaned under MV Act, 06 Persons challaned under Smoking Act and 02 challaned under Mining Act. Total challaned compounded= 123 & fine realized Rs. 42,000/-  

   Follow-Up

1. Two Accused namely Prince Malothra S/o Sh. Ram Krishan R/O Vill. Surat Gaon Khundi dhar Santi, Tehsil & Distt. Solan, age about 27 years and Rajat Kanwar S/o Sh. Dlip Singh R/o  House No 78/8 Vill. Kashmali Salogni Tehsil & PS Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmour age about 22 years arrested in case FIR No. 75/15 Dt. 19.08.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Kumarsain, are on police remand upto 22.08.2015.

2. Three accused namely Arun Vishisht S/o SH. Rajender Kumar Vishisht R/o Village Sasoli Road, Haryana, age 21 years, Rahul Thakur S/o Sh. Inder Singh Thakur R/o Vilalge Moin, PO Nirath, Teshil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 22 years  & Tarun Kumar S/o Sh. Yashpal Thakur R/o Village Delath, Tehsil & PS Rampur, Shimla, age 23 years arrested today in case FIR No. 286/15 Dt. 20.08.15 U/S 457,380 IPC PS Sadar. They will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
