Crime Report August 07, 2015

  1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 197/15 has been registered at PS West on 06.08.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Virochan Negi, I/O PS West stated therein that on 06.08.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling on towards Sankat Mochan & Taradevi.  When they reached at Hanuman Ghati near Hotel Pine Cone at Kachighati, one person namely Roop Ram S/o Sh. Longu Ram R/o 128/01, Badai, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, intercepted by them. During search, 10 bottles of country liquor marka Himachal Orange recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Virochan Negi, I/O PS West.

  2. An Excise Act case FIR No. 56/15 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on 06.08.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Munish Raj, SHO PS Chirgaon stated therein that on 06.08.2015 he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty. During patrolling 17 bottles country liquor marka Himachal Orange have been recovered from the possession of Karam Dass S/o Lt. Sh. Sadhu Ram R/o Village, PO & Tehsil Chirgaon. The case is being investigated by SI Munish Raj, SHO PS Chirgaon.

  3. A House Trespass case FIR No 141/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 06.08.2015 U/S 451,323,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Yagya Dutt S/O Sh. Jai Krishan R/O Lalasa Pau PO Dansa Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 06.08.2015 at about 09.30 AM,  Shiv Om S/O Lt. Sh. Ved Vyas entered into his kitchen, beaten him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Janak Raj I/O PS Rampur.

  4. A Wrongful Restraint & Criminal Intimidation case FIR No. 198/15 has been registered at PS West on the statement of Smt. Vidya Devi W/o Sh. Parma Nand R/o Village Mandeya, PO Okhru, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 06.08.2015, when she was going towards her cowshed, at the same time Lekh Ram alongwith his family members Smt. Narmada Devi & Sewa Nand obstructed her way, beaten her and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/C PP Dhami.

  5. During last 24 hours 285 vehicles challaned under MV Act. Total challaned compounded= 83 & fine realized Rs. 31,100/-
