A Gambling Act case FIR No. 283/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 09.08.2015 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Raj Pal, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla stated therein that on 10.08.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty towards Lakkar Bazar Shimla. At about 05-00 PM, when they reached at Old house of Colonel Bungalow and found that four person namely Mandan Singh, Tarsem Lal, Govind Singh & Khattar Singh were playing gambling with cards and recovered Rs. 42,600/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Raj Pal, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.
An Accident case FIR No. 143/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 09.08.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajinder Singh S/O Lt. Sh Lalu Ram R/o Village Kapti, PO Dhar Gaura, Tehsil Rampur Distt Shimla HP alleging therein that on 09.08.2015 at about 05.00 PM his Uncle Bhagwan Dass was going towards Dhar Gaura in his car No HP 06A-4938. When he reached near Lalsa above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Bhagwan Dass S/O Sh Mani Ram R/O Jagtu Pani Po Khenari Rampur Bsr and rolled down from the road. In this accident, he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Yoginder I.O PS Rampur.
An Accident case FIR No. 144/15 has been registered at PS Rampur today i.e. 10.08.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mirath Lal S/o Sh. Praveer Kumar R/o Village Kochri, PO Jeori, Tehsil Rampur Shimla stated therein that on 09.08.2015 he was going to Jeori in Pick-UP No. HP-06A-5453. At about 09-00 PM, when he reached near Khenari, one Maruti Car No. HP-62A-2054 driven by Sh. Sunder Singh came rashly from Kheneri side and collide with his Pick-Up. The case is being investigated by HC Yoginder, I/O PS Rampur.
A Criminal Breach of Trust case FIR No. 73/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 09.08.2015 U/S 407 IPC on the application of Lalit Kumar S/O Sh. Diwan Chand, Lalit Fruit Company Shop No. 98 Rohru Distt. Shimla H.P alleging therein that he loaded 361 apple carton boxes in the Truck No. UP 82T 0411 driven by Mohd. Nasir S/O Sh. Faruk R/O Mohala Aliganj Distt. Etha U.P from New Sabzi Mandi Rohru to New Fruit Mandi Mathura. But above truck did not reach at the destination till date. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh I/O PS Rohru.
Used Criminal force against Public Servant during performing his duty Case FIR No. 199/15 has been registered at PS West on 09.08.2015 U/S 353, 332, 506 IPC on the complaint of Const. Suresh Kumar, A/P Traffic Wing Shimla alleging therein that on 10.08.2015, he was waiting the Bus at Bifurcation of Kanda- Ganahatti Road, one HRTC Bus No. HP-03B-6073 came from Deoth to Shimla. He signaled to stop the Bus, but the Bus driver did not stop the bus. Thereafter he took the lift and reached at Totu chowk and asked the reason from bus driver. On this, Bus driver abused and scuffle with him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Shyam Lal, I/O PP Jutough.
Used Criminal force against Public Servant during performing his duty Case FIR No. 200/15 has been registered at PS West on 09.08.2015 U/S 353,332 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ranjeet Singh R/o Village Kahali, PO Deoth, Teshil Sadar, PS Barmana, District Bilaspur A/P Driver in HRTC Unit-3 Shimla alleging therein that on 09.08.2015, he was on route duty from Deoth to Shimla in HRTC Bus No. HP-03B-6073. When he reached at Totu Chowk, at the same time one Police Employee scuffle and obstructed him during discharging his govt. duty.
A Burglary case FIR No. 201/15 has been registered at PS West on 09.08.2015 U/S 457,380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Mandan Lal S/o Late Sh. Beli Ram R/o Traxi Cottage-B, CPWD Qtrs. Type-III, Upper Kaithu Shimla alleging therein that on 01.08.2015, he alongwith his family went to Delhi and on 09.08.2015, when they return back to home and found that some unknown person has stolen away two Samsung LCD TVs, one Gas Cylinder, one VIP Briefcase alongwith documents, two Bed sheets & three Blankets from his house.
A Burglary case FIR No. 70/15 has been registered at PS New Shimla today i.e. 10.08.2015 U/S 457,380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ashok Sharma S/o Sh. Vijay Ram Sharma R/o Village Nehra, PO Rajhana, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla A/P C/o Student Choice Vijay Niwas Khalini, Shimla alleging therein that in the intervening night of 08/09-08.2015, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his shop and stolen away two mobile phones (Micromax & Intex Aqua life).
A Cheating case FIR No 145/15 has been registered at PS Rampur today i.e. 10.08.2015 U/S 420,467,468,471 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Paysu Mal S/O Sh. Jalmu Ram R/o Village & PO Kashapat, Tehsil Rampur, Distt Shimla alleging therein that under the RTI Act it is come to his notice that Sh. Phula Singh A/P Pardhan, GP Kashapat prepared forged Mustroll on the basis of false signature of the local people. The case is being investigated by ASI Ishwar Singh.
A Rioting case FIR No. 121/15 has been registered at PS Theog today on 10-08-2015 u/s 143,147,149,341 IPC & section 8 of NH Act on the rukka of Garib Dass Addl. SHO PS Theog alleging therein that today he alongwith staff was on duty at traffic control at bus stand Shimla. At about 100/150 workers of Himachal Kissan Sabha under the leader of Rakesh Singha, Kuldeep Tanwar, Sandeep Verma, Bharat Bhushan and others came towards Theog bus stand by shouting slogan against State Govt. and jammed the traffic for 40 minutes to opposed the cutting of apple trees. The case is being investigated by SI Garib Dass Addl. SHO PS Theog.
During last 24 hours 191 vehicles challaned under MV Act, 02 Persons challaned under Smoking Act and 02 challaned under Mining Act. Total challaned compounded= 79 & fine realized Rs. 33,000/-
