Crime Report August 22, 2015

1. An Excise Act case FIR No.41/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on.21.08.2015 U/S 39 of HP Ex-Act PS Kotkhai has been registered on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain Negi SHO PS Kotkhai alleging therein that on 21.08.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty at Parshal. On the secret information he searched the Dhaba of Sh. Suresh Kumar S/O Nain Singh R/O Village Pajah P.O Badol Tehsiil Sangrah Distt. Sirmour and recovered 36 Bottles of country liquor Marka Darling from his possession.  The case is being investigated by SI/SHO P.S Kotkhai.
2. An Excise Act case FIR No. 156/15 has been registered at PS Rampur on 21-08-2015 u/s 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Shyam Tomar I/C PP Nankhari alleging therein that on 21-08-2015 when he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Gahan, he recovered the 08 boxes of country liquor marka Himachal orange kept under bushes beside road. The case is being investigated by SI Shyam Tomar I/C PP Nankhari.
3. An Accident case FIR No. 209/15 has been registered at PS West on 21.08.2015 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Kushal Kumar Sharma A/P Section Instructor, ITI, Shimla stated therein that in the morning of 04.08.2015, when he reached near Hotel D-Park near Kachighati in his vehicle No. HP-03C-2709, at the same time one vehicle No. HP-10A-3838 came rashly and hit his vehicle from backside. The driver of above vehicle assured him for maintenance his vehicle, but did not repair till date. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh, I/O PS West.
4. An Accident case FIR No. 289/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 22.08.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Devender Singh S/o Sh, Inder Singh R/o Vill Reog PO Fagu Tehsil Theog Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 21/22.08.2015, he was going to Reog (Fagu) from Fruit Mandi Dhalli in his Pick-UP No. HP-63A-1864. At about 01-00 AM, when he reached near Transit Camp, Chharabra, one Maruti Car No. HP-03C-0875 came rashly & collide with his Pick-UP due to negligence driving of Dishant. In this accident complainant, Shubham Thakur and Dishant Khachi sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Kuldeep Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.
5. An Accident case FIR No. 210/15 has been registered at PS West today on 22.08.2015 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the rukka of ASI Amar Nath, I/C PP Dhami, Shimla alleging therein that on 22.08.2015, one Truck No. HP-24B-1605 met with an accident near Jhundla, due to rash & negligent driving of Truck driver and rolled down from the road. During enquiry he came to know that driver alongwith three persons were sit in the truck and after accident they ran away from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath, I/C PP Dhami.  
6. During last 24 hours 286 vehicles challaned under MV Act and 03 Persons challan under smoking Act. Total challaned compounded= 110 & fine realized Rs. 43,800/-   

Follow-Up

1. Prince Malothra S/o Sh. Ram Krishan R/O Vill. Surat Gaon Khundi dhar Santi, Tehsil & Distt. Solan, age about 27 years and Rajat Kanwar S/o Sh. Dlip Singh R/o  House No 78/8 Vill. Kashmali Salogni Tehsil & PS Rajgarh, Distt. Sirmour age about 22 years arrested in case FIR No. 75/15 Dt. 19.08.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Kumarsain, sent to Judicial custody for 14 days by the trial court.

2. Sudhir Kumar S/O Sh. Sadhanand Sankhyan  R/O  Sankhyan Building Lower Totu Shimla. Shimla H.P. age 42 Yrs and Ajay Kumar S/O Sh. SadhaNand Sankhyan  R/O  Sankhyan Building Lower Totu Shimla.age 41 yrs. arrested  in case FIR No. 202/15 Dt 13.08.2015 U/S  452, 307, 34  IPC at PS West sent to Judicial custody for 14 days by the trial court.

3. Atul Sharma S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Sarkali, PO Sarahan, Tehsil Chopal, Distt. Shimla. age 23 years & Nikhil Thakur S/o Sh. Shiv Singh R/o Village Ridka, PO Chaura Maidan, Shimla, age 21 years arrested in Case  FIR No 287/15 Dt. 21.08.2015 U/S 147,148,149,353,332 506 IPC PS Sadar, today produced before Trial Court. They are remanded on Police Custody upto 24.08.2015.
