Crime Report August 21, 2015

1. A wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation case FIR No.  75/15 has been registered at PS Rohru on 20/08/2015 U/S 341, 323, 504, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Dalip Singh S/O Sh. Kundan Lal R/O Village Sharog P.O Arhal Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla H.P alleging therein that on 20/08/2015, at about 02:30 pm when he was going to his home, two persons namely Nanu  and his son Virender obstructed his way and abused & beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Siingh, I/O PS Rohru, Distt. Shimla H.P. 

2. A Burglary case FIR No. 208/15 has been registered at PS West on 21.08.2015 U/S 457,380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rajiv Thapa S/o Sh. Nardev Singh R/o House No. 03, Parvati Niwas, Boilganj, Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night of  20/21.08.2015, some unknown person has  stolen away UPS & Modem from the ATM located at Chakkar Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Kulwant Singh, I/O PS West.

3. A Rioting  Case  FIR No 287/15 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 21.08.2015 U/S 147,148,149,353,332 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Joginder Singh Negi A/P Principal, Centre of Excellence Govt. Degree College, Sanjauli Shimla-6 alleging there in that today at 09.55 AM when he reached in the college campus some outsider namely Naresh Dasta, Atul Sharma, Shiven, Nikhil Thakur and Ankita  entered in the college campus and  assaulted him  with pointed edged weapons, Iron rods, bricks , stones. In this incident he received injuries on his head, elbow & jaw and other  student namely Saharsh-III Semester, Abhilash 5th Semester, Rohit 5th Semester, Prikshit BCA, Munish Verma assaulted on the other staff members  and  stopping Govt officials from performing their duties and threatened them. Case is investigated by HC Vinod Kumar I/O PP L/Bazar  Shimla.

4. During last 24 hours 279 vehicles challaned under MV Act. Total challaned compounded= 99 & fine realized Rs. 41,600/-

1. Three accused namely Arun Vishisht S/o Sh. Rajender Kumar Vishisht R/o Village Sasoli Road, Haryana, age 21 years, Rahul Thakur S/o Sh. Inder Singh Thakur R/o Vilalge Moin, PO Nirath, Teshil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 22 years  & Tarun Kumar S/o Sh. Yashpal Thakur R/o Village Delath, Tehsil & PS Rampur, Shimla, age 23 years arrested today in case FIR No. 286/15 Dt. 20.08.15 U/S 457,380 IPC PS Sadar, today sent to judicial custody by the  trial court.
