A Gambling Act case FIR No. 44/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 26.08.2015 U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Dharam Sain Negi, SHO PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 26.08.2015, he alongwith staff on patrolling duty towards Reoghati. At about 03-50 PM, when they reached Cowshed at Neri ghati and found that five persons were playing gambling with cards and recovered Rs. 2,74,500/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Dharam Sain Negi, SHO PS Kotkhai.
An Theft case FIR No. 129/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 25.08.2015 U/S 341 382 323 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Pritika Sharma W/o Sh. Sunil Sharma R/o Premghat, Sharma Niwas, Theog Shimla stated therein that on 26-08-2015, she was coming to her law's house at Theog. At about 03-15 PM, when she was reached at Krelati road, at the same time an unknown person has pushed her and snatched her golden ear-ring and ran away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh, I/O PS Theog, Shimla.
An Accident case FIR No. 130/15 has been registered at PS Thoeg on 26.08.2015 U/S 279, 304 IPC on the rukka of HC Yogesh, I/O PS Theog Shimla stated therein that on 26.08.2015 at about 06-45 PM, an information regarding accident received in the police station. On this information, he alongwith staff rushed to the spot and found that on vehicle No. HP-09B-0747 (Wagnor) met with an accident near Machine Dhank and rolled down 400 meter form the road due to rash & negligent driving of Sunil Kumar S/o Sh. Suresh Pal R/o Village & PO Pandali, Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla and died on the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Yogesh I/O PS Theog.
An Accident case FIR No. 211/15 has been registered at PS West on 26.08.2015 U/S 279,337,338,304A IPC on the rukka of HC Yogesh, I/O PS West Shimla stated therein that on 26.08.2015, on the information of accident, he alongwith staff rushed to the spot near Sheelgaon and found that a Truck No. PB-11-AT-8651, loaded with apples, met with an accident & rolled down 300 meter from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Mohinder Singh. In this accident driver Mohinder Singh died on the spot and another person Avtar Singh brought to IGMC Shimla for treatment. The case is being investigated by HC Yogesh, I/O PS West.
An Accident case FIR No 78/15 has been registered at PS East Shimla today i.e. 27.08.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act has been registered on the statement of Sh. Keshwa Nand S/o Sh. Man Singh R/o Village & PO Khera, Tehsil Sunni Distt. Shimla HP A/P Employee Police Assistant Room Mehli Distt. Shimla age 54 years alleging therein that on the intervening night of 26/27.08.2015 he was on duty at Apple Barrier Duty Mehli near Housing Board Colony. At about 12-45AM, an unknown vehicle came rashly from Mehli side and hit him and run away from the spot. In this accident he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar I/O PAR Mehali.
An Accident case FIR No. 299/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 27.08.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dinesh Singh S/o HS. Mahipaul Singh R/o Vilage Tiva Basai, PO & PS Khetari, Distt. Junjun, Rajasthan C/o Gujjar Vass, Tehsil Narnol, PS Ateli, Mandi, Distt. Maheder Garh, Haryana, age 31 years stated therein that on 27.08.2015, he was sitting in his truck near Jawahar Colony, Shimla. At about 12-00 noon Pick-Up No. HP-63C-0831 loaded with apple, came rashly and rolled down 60/70 feet from the road. In this accident driver of above Pick-Up sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Daljeet Singh, I/O PS Dhalli.
An Accident case FIR No. 45/15 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today i.e. 27.08.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Raj Kumar S/o SH. Amar Chand R/o Village Khairadhar, PO Bhuera, Tehsil Rajgarh, distt. Sirmaur stated therein that today one vehicle Mazda No. HP-16-0475 met with an accident near Darbar, Kotkhai due to rash & negligent driving of Susheel and rolled down from the road. In this accident, he, driver Susheel & Kishan sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev, I/O PS Kotkhai.
An Accident case FIR No 131/15 has been registered at PS Theog today i.e.27.08.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Bhagat Ram R/o Village Tatal, PO Kyartu, Tehsil & PS Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 26.08.2015, he was coming to home from Shimla alongwith his nephew Kaku in vehicle No. HP-01A-5533(Swift Dezire). At about 11-30 PM, when they were going on Raighat-Kyartu road, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Kaku S/o Sh. Rajinder and rolled down from road. In this accident he sustained injuries and but his nephew Kaku is missing from the spot.
During last 24 hours 320 vehicles challaned under MV Act. Total challaned compounded= 122 & fine realized Rs. 51,800/-
Follow-Up
Balram Kumar S/o Sh. Chiranji Lal Vill Bhadoliya Kalaan PO Behdala Tehsil and Distt Una arrested in case FIR No. 49/15 dated 25-8-2015 U/S 15-61-85 ND&PS PS Sunni, today sent to judicial remand upto 07.09.2015 by the Trial Court.
Naresh Deshta S/o Sh. Khayali Ram R/o Village Sartey, PO Malath, Tehsil & PS Chopal, Distt. Shimla, Atul Sharma S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Sarkali, PO Sarahan, Tehsil Chopal, Distt. Shimla. age 23 years, Shiven Kumar S/o Sh. Tilak Raj R/o Village Dhabrera, PO Dhubali, Tehsil & District Hamirpur, age 19 years & Nikhil Thakur S/o Sh. Shiv Singh R/o Village Ridka, PO Chaura Maidan, Shimla, arrested in Case FIR No 288/15 Dt. 21.08.2015 U/S 147,148,149,353,332 506 IPC PS Sadar. Today above accused moved an application in the trial court, but Ld. Court has rejected their bail application and sent to Judicial Remand.
