CRIME REPORT 20 JANUARY

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 3/14 is registered at PS Sunni on 19.01.14 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Bedh Ram S/o Late Sh. Narotam Dass R/o VPO Kadharghat Tehsil Sunni & Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 19.01.14 an Alto Car No. HP-52B-7777 met with an accident near Kadharghat road Curve at 05.45 pm. In this accident two persons namely Bhikam Ram and Bhoop Ram died on the spot. Dead bodies carried out to Civil Hospital Sunni for postmortem. The case is being investigated by ASI Ashok Kumar I/C PP Jalog.

2. An Accident Case FIR No. 3/14 is registered at PS Kothkhai on 19.01.14 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Bhupeinder Singh S/o Sh. Jeet Ram R/o Village Ghulath PO Kunal Tehsil Kotkhai & Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 19.01.14 a Bullero Camper No. HP-63B-1741 met with an accident at Jamoth near Ramnagar due to negligent Driving. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai.

3. An Accident Case FIR No 11/14 is registered at PS Sadar on 20.1.14 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Kulbhushan Thakur S/O Lt. Sh Dhani Ram Thakur A/P Driver Vehicle H.P07B- 1100 HP Vidhan Sabha Simla alleging there in that when he was going towards Sanjauli from Lakkar Bazar Shimla and reached near Auck Land Tunnel a vehicle bearing No. HP-52A- 6766 coming rashly and negligent from opp. Side hit his vehicle near Auck Land Bridge. Case is being investigated by HC Rajpal I/O P.P. L/Bazar Shimla.

4. During last 24 hours 144 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 110 persons was challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs.13, 100/-.
