Crime Report on November 11, 2017

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 91/17 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 11.11.2017 U/S 279,304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Karan Singh S/o Sh. Tula Ram R/o Village Gaura Browni PO Dhargaura Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 40 years alleging therein that on 10.11.2017 at about 08-55 PM, one vehicle No. HP06A-7693 met with an accident near Browni Nala due to rash & negligent driving of Jameet Singh S/o Sh. Ishwar Singh R/o Village & PO Kartot, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla. In this accident, driver Jameet Singh died on the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Shyam Singh, SHO PS Jhakri.

2.    A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 229/17 has been registered at PS West on 10.11.2017 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vivek Sharma S/o Sh. Som Dutt Sharma R/o House No. 5, Fey Lodge, Old Bus Stand Shimla alleging therein that he is running a liquor shop in the shed at Dafawag near Haridevi Curve. Above shop remained closed, due to election. On 09.11.2017 at about 05-30 PM, after election when they opened the shop and found that some unknown person has unscrew the nut bolt of sheet and stolen away 29 Boxes liquor from shed. The case is being investigated by ASI Suresh Kumar, I/C PP Dhami.

3.    A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 189/17 has been registered at PS Rampur on 10.11.2017 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the statement of Smt. Rajeshwari W/o Sh. Shyam Singh R/o Village & PO Rupi Tehsil Nichar, Distt. Kangra alleging therein that on the intervening night of 09/10.11.2017, some unknown person has stolen away his gold ornaments & cash from her house. The case is being investigated by HC Kuldeep Kumar, I/O PS Rampur.

4.  During last 24 hours 189 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 90 & fine realized  Rs. 28,000/- and 17 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,800/-.
