1. An Excise Act case FIR No. 80/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 24.08.2016 U/S 39(i) of HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Vikas Sharma Addl. SHO PS Rohru, Shimla stated therein that he alongwith staff was on patrolling & traffic duty towards Machoti. At about 07-15PM, on the secret information he searched the shop/Dhaba of Sh. Amrit Fishta S/O Sh. Kedar Singh R/O Bhalara, PO Kui, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla and recovered 24 bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Vikas Sharma Addl. SHO PS Rohru.
2. An Excise Act case FIR No. 168/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 25.08.2016 U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act on the ruka of ASI Chaman Lal I/C PP Nankhari that on date 24-08-16 at about 6.30 PM he was along with staff on patrolling at Thua,He recovered 18 Bottle country liquor from the possession of Surat Ram S/O lachhi Ram R/O Thua S/T Nankhari. case is being investigated by ASI Chaman Lal I/C PP Nankhari, PS Rampur.
3. An Accident case FIR No. 79/16 has been registered at PS Rohru on 24.08.2016 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Gopal Singh I/O Police Station Rohru Distt. Shimla HP alleged therein that he reached with staff at Jhabal Mor Near Ghanasidhar for inquiry of accident information and during inquiry it was found that apple carton boxes loaded truck no. HP 72 B-3319 was going to Delhi from Sandasu and on dated 24/08/2016 at about 04:00 AM when above truck reached at Jhabal Mor near Ghanasi Dhar, the above truck driver Sh. Satish Kumar S/O Sh. Jagir Singh R/O Barera PO Dathhwada Tehsil & Distt. Una HP lost the control due to rash and negligent driving and truck fell down about 300 feet from the road. In this accident conductor Laxmi Chand @ Mola S/O Sh. Vijaypal R/O Anve PO Tanda Tehsil Shahbad Distt. Rampur UP age 26 years died on spot and truck driver Satish Kumar sustained injuries. Case is being investigated by ASI Gopal Singh, I/O PS Rohru.
4. A Kidnapping case FIR No. 177/16 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 24.08.2016 U/S 363 IPC on the application of Sh. Atinder Pandey S/ Lt. Sh. Prakash Pandey R/o Village Dasahwan Dhobhigtwa, PO Dudahi, Tehsil Tamkuiraj, PO Bisanpura, Distt. Kushinagar, UP, age 40 years a/p Kanta Niwas, Mashobra Shimla stated therein that on 14.08.2016, some unknown person has kidnapped his son namely Mandeep Pandey, age 17/18 years. The case is being investigated by ASI Nagdev, I/C PP Mashobra.
5. A House Trespass case FIR No. 41/16 has been registered at PS Jubbal on dated 24.08.16 U/S 341, 451, 323, 504, 506 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Meera D/O Sh. Chet Ram R/O Vill. Ruhil Dhar (Kupar) PO Nandpur Tehsil Jubbal Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on dated 22/08/16 when she was installing the water tank on the floor of her kitchen. At about 3.30 PM her father Sh. Chet Ram S/O Sh. Karam singh R/O Village Om Puri, Shakti Nagar ( Shalad ) Tehsil Jubbal , Distt. Shimla HP alongwith one lady smt. Kamla Sharma of Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla HP come there with criminal intention heaving made preparation of causing hurt and assault her and her son as well as her laborers, employee and caused damage to her property and also threatened her with dire consequence with the intention to kill her on finding appropriate opportunity. The case is being investigated by SI Sunder Singh I/C PP S/Nagar, PS Jubbal.
6. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 53/16 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on dated 24.08.16 U/S 341 323 IPC on the statement of Sh. Tara Chand S/O Sh. Moti Ram R/O Vill. Haunchali, PO Gushali, Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that on 22.08.2016 at about 4.30PM one sh. Sher Singh S/O Sh. Kedar Singh R/O Vill. Atgaon, Tehsil Chirgaon, abostructed his way and beaten him with stone. He sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HHC Shishi Ram I/O PS Chirgaon.
7. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 40/16 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 24.08.2016 U/S 341 323 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vijay Prakash S/O Sh. Moti Ram R/O Vill. Sunog, PO Tharoach, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla stated therein that on 24.08.2016 at about 08-15 PM, when he was going to his home, when he reached at Chod one person namely Naresh Kumar S/O sh. Hira Singh R/O Vill. Koti, Tehsil Renukaji, Sirmour, obstructed his way and beaten him. The case is being investigated by HC Sharifudeen I/O PS Nerwa.
8. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 167/16 has been registered at PS Rampur on 24.08.2016 U/S 341 323 IPC on the statement of Sh. Man Bhadur S/O Sh. Ram Bhadur R/O Sahare PO Balichor Napel A/P Village Cewadi Po Dhanawali Tehsil Nankhri Distt Shimla HP alleged that on dated 23/8/16 at about 8.15/8.30 PM one sh. Ravinder Chauhan S/O Jagdish VPO Kharahan Nankhari obstructed his way and beaten him. The Case is being investigated by ASI Chaman Lal IC PP Nankhri, PS Rampur.
9. During last 24 hours 258 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 110 & fine realized Rs. 38,000/- & 08 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 800/-.
Follow Up:-
1. Accused Kishan @ Govind S/o Sh. Dhan Bahadur R/o VPO & Tehsil Ramathap, Distt Tritishuli, Nepal, age 40 years have been arrested in case FIR No. 178/16 Dt. 24.08.16 U/S 354 IPC & 8 POSCO Act at PS Dhalli, today who is on police remand up to 27.08.2016.
