An Excise Act case FIR No. 126/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 10.08.2016 U/S 39 (i) HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand, I/O PS Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 10.08.2016, at about 05-15 PM, during patrolling with staff he recovered 07 bottles of country liquor from the Daily Needs Shop of Sh. Rajesh Kumar @ Raju S/o Sh. Paras Ram R/o village & PO Kyar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla.
An Excise Act case FIR No. 127/16 has been registered at PS Theog on 10.08.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Rajender Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog stated therein that on 10.08.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling & collection of intelligence near Circuit House, Theog. At about 09-25 PM, on the secret information, he recovered 11 bottles of Country liquor & 03 bottles of English liquor from the Dhaba on NH-5 near Devimore of Hem chand S/o Sh. Jeet Ram R/o Village Nagodhar, PO Sariwan, Tehsil Theog, Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Rajedner Singh, Addl. SHO PS Theog.
An Excise Act case FIR No. 187/16 has been registered at PS Sadar, Shimla on 10.08.2016 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Virender Kumar, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla stated therein that on 10.08.2016, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Lakkar Bazar Bus Stand, Shimla and one Maruti Car No. DL-HCB-1577 driven by Sunil Vaidya S/o Lt. Sh. Madan Lal Viadya R/o Najeev Niwas, Vijay Nagar, BCS New Shimla, age 34 years, stopped by them for checking and recovered 76 bottles of Country liquor marka Himachal Orange 750 ml each, from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Virender, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.
A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 200/16 has been registered at PS West on 10.05.2016 U/S 341 323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Om Guleria S/o Sh. Paras Ram Guleria R/o Radiant Home, A-3, near Teacher Colony, Summer Hill Shimla stated there in that on 09.08.2016, one vehicle (Beat) was parked in front of his garage. He blow horn to remove the car. After sometime one person came there, asked him for making a noise & removed his vehicle. On 10.08.2016, at about 02-45 PM, when he was coming from his house, at the same time same person obstructed his way and beaten him brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Shyam Lal, I/O PP Summer Hill.
An Unlawful Assembly case FIR No. 102/16 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 10.08.2016 U/S 341 143 506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jitender S/o Sh. Chaman Lal R/o Village Sarahan, PO Badagaon, Tehsil & PS Kumarsain, Shimla stated therein that on 09.08.2016, at about 06-30 PM, when he alongwith Vikas Khachi S/o Sh. Suresh Khachi R/o Village Jabali was coming to home from Sarahan Nag Talab in his vehicle No. HP-06A-7194, at the same time Vinod & Mehar Chand (both) S/o Sh. Khoob Ram, Gobind Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Tulsi Ram have obstructed their way, demanded for money & threatened them with dire consequences. They left their car and thereafter his parents also come on the spot & requested them to release the car. Thereafter some other villagers namely Naresh Kumar, Suresh Kumar, Dola Ram, Yashpal, Roshan Lal, Smt. Savita, Smt. Ranjana Devi, Smt. Meera Devi, Smt. Nisha, Smt. Fula Devi, Smt. Sushma Devi also came there and demanded Rs. 10,000/- to release the car. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Sain, I/O PS has been registered at PS Sadar
Used criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No. 201/16 has been registered at PS West today on 11.08.2016 U/S 353,332,143,341,506 IPC & 3 PDP Act on the statement of Sh. Pankaj Kumar S/o Sh. Jagdish Kumar R/o Village & PO Beri Rajadiyan, Tehsil Sadar Bilaspur, Distt. Bilaspur A/P Driver in HRTC Depot Rohru, Shimla stated therein that he was on the route from Mandi to Rohru in HRTC Bus No. HP-10A-7931. Today at about 03-30 AM, when he reached near Tawi More (curve), where about 15/20 persons were stood there with iron rods & wooden sticks. Some of them pulled him from the bus and beaten him brutally during performing his govt. duty. They have also deflated the front tyres & broken the tube ball and threatened the conductor with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Mohan Lal, I/O PP Jutough.
A Rioting & Arms Act case FIR No. 202/16 has been registered at PS West Shimla today on 11.08.2016 U/S 341 147 148 149 506 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act on the statement of Sh. Mani Ram S/o Sh. Sant Ram R/o Village Khali, PO Pipalughat, Tehsil Arki, Distt. Solan, age 40 years A/P owner of Truck No. HP-62-4529 stated therein that he was coming towards Taradevi from Dharlaghat in his above truck loaded with cement. When he reached near Sankat Mochan, where about 20/25 persons were stood with sticks, Rods & sikal and stopped the movement of vehicles. They have also deflated the tyres of his truck & another vehicle parked on the roadside and broken the vehicles. The case is being investigated by ASI Shiv Kumar, I/O PS West.
A Rioting case FIR No. 203/16 has been registered at PS West today on 11.08.2016 U/S 147 148 149 341 IPC on the statement of Sh. Amit Singh S/o Sh. Jogender Singh R/o Village Buhala Aloh, PO Manyala, Tehsil Rakkad, PS Jwalamukhi, Distt. Kangra A/P Driver in Tata 909 bearing No. HP-36A-0676, age 25 years stated therein that he was going towards Chandigarh in above vehicle loaded with apples. Today on 11.08.2016 at about 02-45 PM, when he reached near Loreto Convent School, where 15/20 persons came towards Victory Tunnel & forcibly stopped his vehicle. They have also scuffle with him and deflated the tyres of his vehicle. The case is being investigated by HC Kiran, I/O S West, Shimla.
A Burglary case FIR No. 79/16 has been registered at PS Jhakri today on 11.08.2016 U/S 457 380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Dass S/o Lt. Sh. Ravi Dass R/o Village Talara, PO Shahdhar, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla stated therein that on the intervening night, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his store and stolen away gold/silver ornaments & cash Rs. 58000/- The case is being investigated by SI Kulwant Singh, I/O PS Jhakri.
During last 24 hours 691 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 405 & fine realized Rs. 1,39,400/- and 114 persons challaned under smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 12,100/-

Accused Anil Jandev R/o Village Kharu P/o Dewat Tehsil Chopal Shimla arrested in case FIR No. 49/16 Dt. 08.08.16 U/S 306, 498A, 34 IPC PS Chopal send to Judicial custody by Ld court.
