CRIME REPORT 26 NOVEMBER

1.      A ND&PS Case FIR No.193/13 is registered at PS  Dhalli on 25-11-13 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act & 181, 192, 196 M.V Act on the report of ASI Kamlender Singh I/O P.S Dhalli that on      25-11-13 when he was on traffic checking alongwith staff near Chharabra one M/Cycle No. HP64-5487 was coming from Theog  towards  Shimla .The two persons  were sitting on the motorcycle without helmet. Police Staff signaled them to stop the motor cycle but rider of M./Cycle rashly ran away . He caught them with the help  of  P.S. staff in  Govt Vehicle  500/600/ Mtrs ahead . On personal search 600 gms  Charas was found in the bag of Shiv Singh @ Shibu. Sandeep Kumar could not produce the document of M.Cycle on Spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamlender Singh I/O P.S Dhalli. Shimla.

2.     A Criminal Force to Deter Public Servant Case FIR No. 237/13 is registered at PS West on 25-11-13 U/S 353, 332, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mohan Singh, Security Guard , HP University  Shimla,  alleging therein that when he was on duty at V.C. office Gate, about 80/90 students of SFI/SCA in the leadership of SCA President Rajan Harta alongwith Gopal Singh, Piyush, Monika, Punita Dhanta, Hoshiyar Singh, Khushi Ram, Vivek Rana, Rahul Chauhan, Vikram Kayath & other shouted slogans  near Committee Room and they tried  to enter the VC Office. When security guards tried to stop  the student, the Jacket of Security Officer was torn off and Jai Pal, Hem Raj & Tara Chand  received multiple injuries.  The case is being investigated by ASI Dharmesh Dutt, I/C PP Summer Hill.

3.     A Grievous Hurt Case FIR No. 238/13 is registered at PS West on 25-11-13 U/S 325 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rohit Thakur  S/o Sh. Pratap Thakur R/o Vill. Ghananti, PO Gad, Teh.& PS Aani, Distt. Kulu A/P student of MA, HPU, alleging therein that  on 22-11-13 when he was going towards his   Quarter at Sangti. Near old Khullar House namely Rohit, Anil & Baldev have  beaten  him.  On the report of MO  DDU Shimla the injuries sustained to complainant are of   Grievous in nature. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar, I/O PP Summer Hill.

4.      During last 24 hours 278 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 10 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs.48,800/-.
