CRIME REPORT 09 NOVEMBER

1.           A Grievous Hurt Case FIR No 83/13 is registered  at  PS Rohru on  08.11.13  U/S  323, 325 IPC on the application of Aman Kumar S/o Padam Singh R/o Gawana PO Kutara Teh Rohru Distt Shimla, alleging therein that Prithavi Singh obstructed his way and  beaten him. As a result he sustained injuries. The Case is being investigated by HC Subhash  I/O  PS Rohru. 

2.          A Burglary Case FIR No.51/13 is registered at PS Kotkahi on 08.11.13 U/S 380 IPC on the complaint of Suresh Kumar S/o Sh Kehar Singh Village and P.O Throla Tehsil Kotkhai Distt Shimla, alleging therein that he is residing rented quarter at Gazta in the house of Ram Lal for last 5/6 years alongwith his family. Due to Diwali vacation and between the same time some unknown culprits broken the lock of his quarter and stolen away his house hold articles value of above around about Rs.30,000/-. On 6.11.13 he came back to his quarter and found that one television LG 22", two gas cylinder, gas stove mark Ganesh, mobile phone Nokia, rice bag and some precious cloths. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Krishan I/O PS Kotkhai.

3.             A ND & PS Act  Case FIR No 216/13 is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 09.11.13 U/S 20,21-61-85 ND& PS Act  on the Rukka of ASI Lachhmi Singh I/O P.S Sadar Shimla, alleging therein that on 08.11.13 at 4.45 PM. When ASI Lachhmi Singh alongwith staff on patrolling duty near HHH Shimla he recovered 58 grms Charas & 160 Tablets Nitrosun-10 from the possession of Mahesh Kumar S/o Hem Raj R/O Vill. & PO Baragoan  Tehsil Kumarsain Distt Shimla. This Case is being investigated by ASI Jai Nand I/O P.S Sadar Shimla.

4.          A Unlawful Assembly Case  FIR  No 217/13 is  registered at PS Sadar Shimla  on 09.11.13 U/S 143,147 IPC & 109,110,115 Police Act  on the Rukka of PSI Deepak I/O P.S Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on  09.11.13  at 1.25 PM worker of ABVP assembled unlawfully at CTO Shimla in the leadership of Ajay Kumar State Secretary ABVP, Sunny Shukla Organization Secretary, Sahil Sachdeva , Chetan Guleria , Atul Sharma , Praveen Sharma , Pyush , Praveen Sharma , Vikas Kumar , Rohit ,   Ajay Chauhan , Sahil, Lekh Raj  and Priti Chandel etc shouted against H.P Government. The Case is being investigated by PSI  Deepak  I/O  PS Sadar  Shimla.

5.      During last 24 hours 181 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M V Act and 13 persons were challaned under COTPA (Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act   2005).  The total amount of Compounding fee of  challans under MV, & COPTA Act is Rs. 18,100/-.
