1. A vehicle accident case is registered at Police Station Nerwa on 26.02.2013 u/s 279 IPC on the statement of Balbir Singh S/O Sh. Ram Singh R/O Bijmal, Nerwa stating therein that in the evening of 26.02.2013, a vehicle Maruti car No. HP08A-1314 rolled down near Betarapul in which 2 persons namely Rameshwari W/O Budhi Singh and her son Sidhart sustained injuries. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by the driver of saic vehicle.
2. A vehicle theft case is registered at Police Station East, on 26-02-2013 U/S 379 Ipc on the compliant of Sh Chaman Singh Dvr. GAD A Section HP Sectt. Shimla-2 alleging therein that during the invervening night of 25/26-02-13 his Vehicle No. HP-07-0080, colour white, Chasis No. Ma3ebe41s000411196 & Eng.No.G13bbn164384 was stolen by some unknown person from Brock Hurst, Chhota Shimla.
3. A dog bite case is registered at Police Station Rampur on 27-02-2013 U/S 289 IPC on the application of Sh. Sunil Kumar S/O Sh. Amar Singh Vill. Karaili PO Narain Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 06-02-2013, the pet dog of Sh. Gian Singh village Karaili, PO Narain bit him on left leg.
4. During last 24 hours, 203 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of traffic rules and 09 persons were challaned under COPTA (Cigarette and Other Tobacco Product Act, 2005). The Total amount of Compounding Fee of Challans under M.V. Act and COPTA is Rs. 43900/-.
