CRIME REPORT 17 FEB

1.      A case under ND & PS Act is registered at Police Station Dhalli on 16-02-2013 u/s 20 ,22 of ND & PS Act that on a secret information, the a raid was conducted in the room of Anshul Chauhan S/o Late Sh Ami Chand Chauhan R/O Verma Colony, Sanjauli and  during checking 878 Capsules of Spasmocip plus, 137 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon, 2 bottles of Rexcof, 8 bottles of phensidyl and 3 gms cannabis were recovered from his possession. Accused person has been arrested. 

2.      A vehicle Accident case is registered at Police Station Dhalli on 16-2-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC. on the Statement of Sh. Suresh Chandel S/O Sh Ami Chand R/O Katyar P/O Fagu Tehsil & P/S Theog alleging therein that on 16.02.2013,  A car No. HR51-R-2143 rolled down from road at Kufri in which one person namely Yuv Raj S/O Ritu Raj R/O Nolara, PO Bhawana, Merath and 4 persons namely Abhishek, Avinabh, Vikas and Nikita sustained injuries. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by the driver of above vehicle.

3.       A vehicle Accident case is registered at Police Station Dhalli on 16-2-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC. on the Statement of Sh. Kamal Kumar verma S/O Sh. Tara Chand Verma R/O Villagel Disti PO Sainj Tehsil Sunni Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 16.02.2013, he was going to his home and at about 3.50 PM, near Bhagar, a maruti car No. HP51A-1687 rolled down in which two persons Lekhraj and his brother Dalip Kumar sustained injuries who were taken to IGMC Shimla for treatment where Lekhraj was declared dead by M.O. This accident  was sitting with him in the car. Lekhraj was declared brought dead by MO at IGMC. This accident took place due to rash and negligent driving by the driver of above vehicle.

4.      An attempt to commit suicide case is registered at Police Station Sadar on 16.02.2013 u/s 309 IPC that one lady namely Rehana Begam W/O Mohd. Saleem R/O House No. 137 Idgah Colony Lakkar Bazar Shimla attempted to commit suicide by hanging in her quarter on 16.02.2013. 

5.      A Rioting case is registered at Police Station East, Shimla on 17.02.2013 u/s 341, 147, 148, 149, 452, 427 IPC on the statement of Mr. Dipti Ranjan Raut S/O Mr. Padammnav Raut A/P Manager Vishal Megamart Shimla -2 alleging therein that two Wworkers namely Rakesh & Suresh were suspended by the company and in their support, some workers of Vishal Megamart were on strike for last few days.  Today on 17-02-2013 at about 11.30 AM, workers alongwith CITU members assembled near the gate of Vishal Megamart and forcibly entered the Vishal Megamart Complex and beat the workers and also caused damage to the property of company.

6.      On 16.02.2013 at about 3.00 PM, a telephonic information was received at Police Station Chirgaon that one Smt. Hem Lata W/O  Sh. Suresh Kumar R/O Banoti, PO Devidhar Tehsil Chirgaon age 20 years swallowed poison in the morning of 16.02.2013 and was taken to Civil Hospital Rohru for treatment where she expired at 10.15 PM.

7.      During last 24 hours, 83 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of Traffic Rules.
