1. A theft case is registered at Police Station Dhalli on 23.02.2013 u/s 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Chaman Chauhan S/O Sh. Shyama Nand Chauhan R/O Shyama Niwas, Ali Manzil Sanjauli, Shimla alleging therein that in the first week of January, 2013, he was going to Mashobra in his car and when he reached near Dhalli Tunnel, 2 ladies took lift from him from Dhalli Tunnel to Mashobra. He stopped the vehicle for sometime near Mashobra where both ladies got down. He had kept one golden chain and one Surya Chhap ring with Manik in the dashboard of car. After 2/3 days he checked the dashboard and found above both items missing. He suspects that his above articles were stolen by ladies.
2. A BURGLARY case is registered at Police Station Rohru on 23-02-13 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vilson Jhamta S/o Sh. Kant Singh Jhamta R/o Vill Shargal, PO Kui, Teh Rohru owner Jhamta Electonic Shop, Amar Complex near UCO Bank Rohru alleging therein that during the intervening night of 22/23-02-13, some unknown person stole away one Heater, one LCD, one Head Phone, one Home theater, 2 Pure it Filter and Recharge Coupons of Rs. 23500/- 5 Mobile sets and cash of Rs. 3800 from his above shop. Total cost is stolen property is Rs. 72,000/- approximately.
3. A case under Information Technology Act is registered at Police Station New Shimla on 22-02-13 u/s 66 (c) I.T Act on the complaint of Aakash Guleria S/O Sh. Yogesh Guleria R/O H.NO.B -457/1, Sector -4 New Shimla, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 07.02.2013 between 10.43 Pm T0 10.55 Pm, some unknown person made illegal online Transaction from his P.N.B. Credit card. The total amount so transacted is Rs. 43574/-.
4. During last 24 hours, 158 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of traffic rules and 10 persons were challaned under COPTA (Cigarette and Other Tobacco Product Act, 2003). The Total amount of Compounding Fee of Challans under M.V. Act and COPTA is Rs. 29100/-.
