1. A theft case is registered at Police Station East, Shimla on 21.02.2013 U/S 379 IPC on the compliant Updesh Kumar R/O Room No.328 Edu. D Section HP Sectt. Shimla HP on 20-02-2013 alleging therein that he parked his Alto Car No.HP-03D-0901 at NH-22 Mehli Near Wine Shop. During the intervening night of 21/22.02.2013, some unknown person stole away two Tyres with Rims and Tubes from his car.
2. During last 24 hours, 132 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under Motor Vehicle Act for the violation of traffic rules and 9 persons were challaned under COPTA (Cigarette and Other Tobacco Product Act, 2003). The Total amount of Compounding Fee of Challans under M.V. Act and COPTA is Rs. 26600/-.
