AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 77/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 25.05.2017 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS Shimla East alleging therein that on 25.05.2017 at about 08-30 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff on the road from Panthaghati to Sargheen, one person namely Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Sher Singh R/o Village masrani PO Badana, Tehsil Poanta Sahib, Distt. Sirmaur, age 32 years A/P C\o Prabhu Niwas, Panthaghati Shimla apprehended by them and recovered 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Himachal Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Prakash, I/O PS East.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 53/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 25.05.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Lalit S/o Sh. Dev Raj R/o Village Gumana, PO Oddi, Tehsil Kumarsain, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 25.05.2017 at about 04-50 PM, one Eon Car No. HP-14T-7418, which was on the way towards Narkanda from Kumarsain, met with an accident near Oddi & rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Vivi Shandil R/o Village Madoli, PO Kumarsain, Shimla. In this accident driver Vivi Shandil and a Nepali girl Anjali, age 8 years sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram, I/O PS Kumarsain.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 97/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 25.05.2017 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Mohar Singh Verma S/o Sh. Surat Ram Verma R/o Village Joy (Kashna) PO Mundu, Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 40 years alleging therein that on 25.05.21017, one Car No. HP-09A-4493 met with an accident & rolled down 100 meter from National Highway due to rash & negligence driving of Rakesh Kumar S/o Sh. Kewal Ram. In this accident one person namely Sita Ram S/o Sh. Het Ram died during treatment at CH Theog and driver Rakesh Kumar sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar, I/O PS Theog.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 73/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 26.05.2017 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Mandeep Sing S/o Sh. Hira Singh Thakur R/o Village Khail, PO Dewat, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla A/P Dhewla Niwas, Lower Cemetery near Dhalli Tunnel Sanjauli Shimla, age 30 years alleging therein that today he alongwith his family was going to Mahun Nag Temple at Karsog. At about 09-30 AM, when he reached near Dawat Hotel, one Pick-Up No. HP-15A-3549 came rashly with negligent driving and hit his vehicle from back side and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Dharmesh Dutt, I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla.
AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 36/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 26.05.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Mehtab Singh S/O Lt. Sh. Murat Singh R/O Village & PO Chirgaon Distt. Shimla stated therein that 25.05.2017, his driver Surender Singh alongwith Pankaj S/o Sh. Rajinder Singh R/O Vill. Thana (Shultwan) Tehsil Chirgaon were going towards Hatkoti in his Pickup No. HP-10A-5620. At about 11.00 PM, when they reached at Parahat near Hatkoti, suddenly Pankaj fell down from the pickup due to rash and negligent driving of driver Surender Singh, caused sustained injuries to Pankaj. The case is being investigated by HC Kartar Singh, I/O PP Sarswati Nagar.
A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 98/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 25.05.2017 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Anu Sharma S/o Sh. Ramesh Chand Sharma R/o Village Kalahar, PO Kyar, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that he alongwith his Contractor Mahender Singh & Raman Singh were coming to home from Shilly curve. At about 10-00 PM, when they reached near PHC, some boys two of them are Raman Kumar R/o Kotkhai & Surender Ghai R/o Chopal, came out from the vehicle No. HP-63B-0205 & obstructed their way and beaten them brutally. The case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/o PP Chhaila, Theog.
A CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No. 82/17 has been registered PS Shimla West on 25.05.2017 U/S 323, 506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ankur Yadav S/o Sh. Kuldeep Singh R/o Verma Niwas, Lower Kaithu, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.05.2017 at about 11-00 PM, he was going to home from shop. On the way one vehicle No. HP-62D-0721 was parked on middle of the road and two persons sit inside the vehicle. He requested them to park the vehicle on road side. On this, they came out from the vehicle, beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Sanjay, I/O PS West.
During last 24 hours 663 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, compounded = 527 & fine realized Rs. 1,34,400/- and 99 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 10,100/-.
INQUEST REPORT:
Today a human skeleton found lying in the bushes near Civil Maintenance Complaint Office SJVNL Jhakri. During preliminary inquiry and inspection of spot above deadbody seems to be an unidentified male dead body of Nepali origin. Aforesaid bones, skull, clothes & shoes have been seized and sent to MG MSC Khaneri for further proceeding.

Accused Daulat Singh S/o Sh. Khan Singh R/o Rukna Kasam, PO Amir Kothi, PO Amirkothi, Tehsil Gurdarsaye, Distt. Firozpur, Punjab ii) Harnek Singh S/o Sh. Mehar Singh R/o Jamarakhiya Hittal, PO Khunder Uttar, PS Mamdot, Tehsil & Distt. Firozpur, Punjab, arrested in case FIR No. 76/17 Dt. 19.05.2017 U/S 420, 489B, 489C, 34 IPC at PS Shimla West, are remanded in judicial custody upto 08.06.2017, by the Ld. Court.
Accused Baldev Raj Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Vishavmitra R/o Saudagar Bhavan, Set No. 4, Sanjauli Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 72/17 Dt. 24.05.2017 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, today released on bail by the Ld. Court.
