Crime Report on Nov. 16, 2018

1.     A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 334/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 15.11.2018 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kailash Chand Tripathi S/o Lt. Sh. Suresh Chander Tripathi R/o Court Colony, Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 06.11.2018, an unknown person has withdrawn amounting to Rs. 48,400/- from his account through PNB ATM at Shoghi, by exchanging his ATM card with another card, when he visited to PNB ATM at Sankat Mochan Shimla on 05.11.2018. The case is being investigated by HC Dev Raj, I/O PP Narkanda.

2.     A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 156/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 15.11.2018 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Wilson Jhamta S/o Sh. Kana Singh R/o Village Shargal PO Kui, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 15.09.2018, three perons namely Tinku, Vimal Jeet Pal & Lalit came to his shop and told him that their company Bio Uman Pvt. Care Manufacture deals with all kinds of product. They offered him to supply the company’s product and asked to deposit some cash in advance. On this, he deposited amounting to Rs. 3 lacs in the account provided by them. But, neither they have sent any product to him, nor returned his money and cheated him. The case is being investigated by ASI Shanti Swaroop, I/O PS Rohru. 

3.     A GRIEVOUS INJURY: Case FIR No. 155/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 15.11.2018 U/S 326 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Arjun Kumar S/o Sh. Brij Lal R/o Vilage House No. 725, Gali No.-3, Parwali Road, Faridkot, Punjab A/P Samala, Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 20.10.2018, he alongwith his brother Vikram Kumar was at Samala, At the same time a person namely Lokinder @ Gulu came there and beaten them brutally. On this, he was medically examined at CH Rohru and Medical Officer has given grievous injury to him in final opinion. The case is being investigated by ASI Shanti Swaroop, I/O PS Rohru.

4.        During last 24 hours 414 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 120 and 13 Persons challaned under Smoking Act.

           Today on 15.11.2018, an unknown male deadbody of Nepali Persons, age about 37 years, found at Neri Nalah (Gadhel) due to fell down from Chebri dhank in the jurisdiction of PS Nankhari. Dead body kept in mortuary at CH Nankhari for identification. Further proceeding is going on.

FOLLOW-UP

1.     Accused Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Damyana, PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 67/18 Dt. 12.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in police custody upto 19.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.  

2.     Accused Jagmohan S/o Lt. Sh. Pyare Lal R/o Village Bhiwra, PO Jahu, Tehsil Nankhari, District Shimla, age 32 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 121/18 Dt. 15.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, is remanded in police custody upto 19.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.
