Crime Report on Nov. 09, 2018

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 222/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 08.11.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Theog has been registered on the rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand,  Incharge, Police Post Chhaila (Thoeg) alleging therein that on 08.11.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, one person namely Pardeep Thakur S/o Sh. Kanwar Thakur R/o Village Sundrari, PO Shillai, Tehsil Shillai, District Sirmaur, HP, age 25 years intercepted by them near Parala and during the search, 87 Gram Charas recovered from his possession. The accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila.
2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 328/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla 08.11.18 U/S 279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Ravi S/o Sh. Rati Ram R/o Village Kufta PO & Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 08.11.2018, on the booking, he alongwtih patient Manmohan Singh, was going towards PGI Chandigarh in his ambulance. At about 05-30 PM, as he reached near Sonu Bangla Taradevi, at the same time one vehicle No. HP63-7399, came rashly in wrong direction and hit his ambulance and run away from the spot. In this accident, Patient Manmohan Singh  sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PS West.
3. During last 24 hours 132 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 80, fine realized Rs. 45,400/- and 22 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2200/-.

FOLLOW-UP

1.     Accused Man Bahadur S/o Lt. Sh. Sukh Ram R/o Village Gorkhani, PO Shank, Tehsil Khlanga, Anchal Rapti, District Rukkum, Nepal, age 54 years, arrested in case FIR No. 126/18 Dt. 07.11.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Chopal, is remanded in police custody upto 10.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.

2.     Accused Pardeep Thakur S/o Sh. Kanwar Thakur R/o Village Sundrari, PO Shillai, Tehsil Shillai, District Sirmaur, HP, age 25 years, arrested in case FIR No. 222/18 Dt. 08.11.2018 U/S 20 ND&PS Act at PS Theog, is being produced before Ld. Court today.

3.    Accused Kuldeep S/o Sh. Ramdhan R/o Village & PO Basoudi, PO Badouli, District Sonipat, Haryana, age 30 years arrested in case FIR No. 94/18 Dt. 02.09.2018 u/S 407, 420 IPC at PS Kumarsain, released on bail by the Ld. Court.
