Crime Report on Nov. 13, 2018

1. A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 67/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 12.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Sunil Sharma, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 12.11.2018, during patrolling alongwith staff, .011 Gram Chitta (Heroin) has been recovered from the possession of a person namely Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Damyana, PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, age 24 years. The case is being investigated by HC Sunil Kumar, I/O PS Kotkhai.
2. AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 74/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 12.11.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of SI Kulwant Singh, SHO PS Nerwa, Shimla alleging therein that on 12.11.2018, one the secret information a raid has been conducted in the shop of Sh. Daleep Singh S/o Sh. Kana Singh R/o Village & PO Bijmal, Tehsil & PS Nerwa, District Shimla, HP and recovered 07 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by SHO PS Nerwa.
3. A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 166/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 13.11.2018 U/S 3, 4 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Sher Siingh, I/O PS Rampur alleging therein that on the intervening night of 12/13.11.2018, six persons apprehended by them during playing gambling with cards in the house of Jagmohan and  seized Rs. 36,600/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Sher Singh, I/O PS Rampur.
4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 152/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 13.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of HHG Sandesh Kumar No. 2/2-88 A/P Night Patrolling duty at PS Rohru stated therein that on the intervening night of 12/13.11.2018 at about 02-15 AM, one Alto Car No. HP10B-1553, met with an accident near Meat Market at DD Ghar and rolled down from the road, sustained injuries to three persons. The case is being investigated by HC Amit Kumar No. 180, I/O PP City Rohru.   
5. During last 24 hours 381 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 150, fine realized Rs. 67,600/- and 16 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1600/-. 

FOLLOW-UP

1.     Accused Pushpender Thakur S/o Sh. Devinder R/o 74, The Mall Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 247/18 U/S 376 IPC at PS Sadar Shimla, is being produced before Ld. Court.

2.     Accused Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Damyana, PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 67/18 Dt. 12.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai, is being produced before Ld. Court.  

3.     Accused Balbir Singh @ Chellu S/o Sh. Roop Singh R/o Village Bakhrel Kufta, PO Bagri District Shimla, age 34 years, arrested in case FIR No. 02/18 Dt. 04.01.2018 U/S 379 IPC at PS Kotkhai, is being produced before Ld. Court.
