Crime Report on Nov. 07, 2018

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 66/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 06.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of ASI Roshan Lal, I/O PS Kotkhai, Shimla alleging therein that on 06.11.2018, one A/F Alto K-10 Car met with an accident near Koku Nalah Bridge and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Mohan Lal R/o Village Shalog PO Himmari Tehsil Kotkhai District Shimla, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Roshan Lal, I/O PS Kotkhai.

2. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 131/18 has been registered at PS East Shimla today on 07.11.2018 U/S 279 IPC on the rukka of Insp. Parveen Thakur, SHO PS East Shimla alleging therein that on 06.11.2018, one vehicle No. HP19C-7883 (i20) met with an accident near Nav Bahar Chowk due to rash & negligent driving of Vrun Jaswal, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by Insp./SHO PS East.

3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 220/18 has been registered at PS Theog today on 07.11.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Moti Raman S/o Sh. Hiru Ram R/o Village Khalot PO Balawag, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla stated therein that on 06.11.2018, he alongwith Joginder & Prakash was coming to home from Theog in the Car No. HP63-1929 of Sh. Shashi S/o Sh. Het Ram R/o Village Khalot. At about 09-30 PM, above vehicle met with an accident near Nanni Dhank due to rash & negligent driving of Shashi. In this accident, Joginder Singh S/o Sh. Jeewan Ram died on the spot and they sustained injuries.

4. During last 24 hours 221 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 123, fine realized Rs. 58,700/-, 05 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 600/- and 01 Challaned under Mining Act & fine realized Rs. 4500/-.
