Crime Report On January 26, 2018.

1.    AN ND & PS ACT: Case FIR No. 10/18 has been registered at PS East on dated 25.01.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Shimla East on the rukka of SI Raghuveer, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.01.2018 at about 01-30 PM, during patrolling/traffic checking alongwith staff, one person namely Raju S/o Sh. Jokhru Ram R/o Village Bhangaal PO Tikkeri Neol, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 28 years, intercepted by them on Kasumpti Bazar-SDA complex road near Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Bhawan and recovered 67 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Raghuveer, I/C PP Kasumpti Shimla. 

2.    AN ND & PS ACT: Case FIR No. 14/18 has been registered at PS Theog on dated 25.01.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Theog on the rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila (Theog) alleging therein that on 25.01.2018 at about 09-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Parala, one person namely Sumesh Verma S/o Sh. Laiq Ram Verma R/o Village Thanadhar PO Chanair Tehsil & PS Theog, Shimla, age 35 years, intercepted by them and recovered 360 gram Charas from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila (Theog). 

3.    A BURGLARY Case FIR No. 07/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on dated 25.01.18 U/S 457 380 IPC PS Chirgaon on the complaint of Sh. Surender Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Shwala Nand R/o Bhonda Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that some unknown person has broken the door locks of his house and stolen away gold/silver ornaments i.e. Chain, Mangalsutra, Tops, Kante, Gokhru, Bawru, Bracelet & cash Rs. 10,000/- in between 11.01.2018 to 25.01.2018. The approximate value of stolen property is Rs. 3.50 lacs. The case is being investigated by ASI Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

4.    AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No. 21/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on dated 25.01.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Ms ABC R/o Jout, PO Rawla Kyar, Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that she hired a taxi No HP01-2328 driven by Sh. Anil S/o Sh. Tota Ram R/o Vill. Kalali, PO Maloothi, Tehsil & Distt Shimla from Peterhoff, as she reached Nr Dhalli byepass above taxi skid on ice and rolled down from the road. The case is being investigated by HC Teja Singh N0 71 I/O P.S. Dhalli.

5.    AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No. 08/18 has been registered at PS New Shimla on dated 25-01-2018 U/s 279, 337 IPC the complaint of Sh. Sohan Verma S/o Late Sh. Kewal Ram R/o Giri Ganga Hotel Chhaila, PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on dated 25.01.218 at Khalini Chowk when he was sitting in his Vehicle No. HP 09C-1103, a Truck No. HP 38B-5058 come from opposite side and cut his right hand thumb. The case is being investigated by ASI Jagjit Sigh, I/O PS New Shimla.  

6.    A CHEATING Case FIR No. 22/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on dated 25/01/2018 U/S 420 IPC on the application of Mr Suresh Dutt S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Vill. Parthana, PO Dublu, Junga, Shimla alleging therein that he received a phone call from mobile No. 82980-76492 from PNB Janedghat and required his ATM Number and withdrawn amounting to Rs. 9000/-,20,000/-,100/-, 10,000/-, 10,000/- (Total Rs. 49,100/-) from his account. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Parkash I/C P.P. Junga, P.S. Dhalli.

7.    WRONGFUL RESTRAINT Case FIR NO 07/2018 has been registered at PS Jhakri on dated 25-01-2018 U/S 341, 504 IPC on the application of Sonam Tamang R/O VPO Sarahan Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging that on dated 25-01-2018 morning when he was driving the Bus No. HP63-5041 and was going to Rampur from Block point ( Rai Khaad), an another bus Vansh coach came there & obstructed his way & conductor of Vanch coach abused him. Case is being investigating by ASI Purshtom I/C PP Sarahan.

8.    WRONGFUL RESTRAINT Case FIR NO 08/2018 has been registered at PS Jhakri on dated 25-01-2018 U/S 341, 504, 506 IPC  on the application of Suleman S/O Moh. Ali R/O vpo Duttnagar Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP, alleging that on dated 25-01-2018 at about 09-33 am when he reached at Block point (Rai Khaad), one person namely Sonam Tamang driver of Bus No. HP63-5041 obstructed him to take a route & abused him. He also threatened to the conductor of Vansh coach. Case is being investigating by HC Ram Lal  I/O PP Sarahan.      

9.    WRONGFUL RESTRAINT Case FIR NO 09/2018 has been registered at PS Jhakri on dated 25-01-2018 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Santosh Kumar S/O Sh. Prem Dass R/O Dobi PO Kartot Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on dated 25-01-2018 at about 7.00 PM when he was coming back to his home from market two person namely Chandi Ram & Vishal obstructed his way & beaten him with kicks & punches. In this incident he sustained injuries in his head, forehead, right side eye, & mouth . The case is being investigating by HC Suresh Kumar I/O PS Jhakri.

10. During last 24 hours 284 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 208, fine realized Rs. 68,500/- and 21 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2100/-.

FOLLOW-UP

1.      Accused Ramesh Singh s/o Sh. Beli Ram R/o Village & PO Bagankot Teh. Mahor Distt. Reasi J&K age 29 years, arrested in case FIR No. 132/17 Dt. 21.11.2017 U/S 302 IPC at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in Police custody upto 27.01.2018, by the Ld. Court.
