Crime Report on Jan. 09, 2018

1.    AN ACT ENDANGERING LIFE OR PERSONAL SAFETY OF OTHERS: Case FIR No. 03/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa on 08.01.2018  U/S 336, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Bali Ram  S/o Sh. Moti Ram R/o Village Shandli (Krai) PO Deiya Tehsil Nerwa Distt. Shimla  age about  57 years stated therein that on 08.01.2018 at about 06-30 PM, driver namely Ramesh negligently parked his vehicle No HP 08A-1380 (Bolero) on the road near Shandli and self came out from the vehicle. Suddenly the above vehicle  move forward and rolled down 500 meter from the road due to negligence act of driver Ramesh. Five persons were sat inside the above vehicle, out of which  3 persons namely Manmohan Singh, Balbir Singh,& Akshu died on the spot and another two lady namely Birma & Meera sustained injuries. The case is being investigating by ASI Parkash Chand I/O P.S Nerwa.

2.    A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 05/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar on 08.01.2018 U/S 454, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Pawan Kanthwal S/o Sh. Ved Prakash R/o Set No. 2, First Floor, Old Metropoll Annexes, Shimla A/P Junior Assistant in HP Vidhan Sabha Shimla alleging therein that Departmental has allotted him a Set No. 2 in Old Metropol Annexe, Shimla. On 08.01.2017, some unknown person has broken the door lock of his above quarter and stolen away gold/silver ornaments, some old Mobiles & cash Rs. 4000/-.

3.    A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 06/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 09.01.2018 U/S 451, 506, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ajay Shankar Gupta S/o Lt. Sh. Suraj Lal  Gupta R/o Village & PO Oddi, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that today on 09.01.2017 two persons namely Ishan Khachi and Raju Khachi R/o Village Kacheri PO Oddi, Tehsil Kumarsain, Shimla entered in his shop, beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences.  The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram, I/O PS Kumarsain.

4.  During last 24 hours 188 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 106 fine realized Rs. 42,500/- and 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,200/-.  

INQUEST REPORT

Today on 09.01.2018, deceased Anil Bhatia S/o Sh. Prem  Chand Bhatia residing in temporary Dhara below Kalibari road near Old Bentony Building, Shimla, age 37 years, who was addicted of drugs/liquor burnt in his dhara due to fire & died. After autopsy at IGMC Shimla, dead body handed over to his brother for cremation. The proceeding U/s 174 Cr.PC is being conducted by ASI Ajeet Singh, I/O PS Sadar.
