Crime Report on Jan. 16, 2018

1.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR  No. 02/18 has been registered at PS Kupvi on 15.01.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Manmohan S/O Chet Ram R/O Village Jubar PO Makrog Tehsil  Chopal therein that he alongwith  Dhaju Ram S/O Bhaju Ram R/O Malat Tehsil Kupvi and his Sister-in-law was coming towards Kupvi from Keeda in Pickup  No. HP63A-3595 driven by  Sh. Naveen S/O Kripa Ram R/O Hida Tehsil Kupvi. As they reached near Hida, above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Naveen. In this accident, he and Dhaju Ram sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Satpal Sharma I/O PS Kupvi.

2.   A GRIEVOUS INJURY: Case FIR No. 06/18 has been registered at PS Rampur on 15.01.2018 U/S 323,325 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Shanta Sharma S/O Sh. Durga Dev Sharma R/O Village  Lalsa PO Dansa Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 28.12.2017, one person namely Kaku R/O Kotgarh beaten him brutally at Nav Nab Hotel Rampur and he sustained injuries. On this, he was medically examined at MGMSC Khaneri and MO has given grievous injury to him in final opinion. The case being investigated by HC Hukam Lal, I/O PP City Rampur.

3.   A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 05/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on  15.01.2018 U/S 341,323,504,34 IPC on the report of Sh. Rinku Ram S/O Sh. Birbal Singh R/o Village Diudi Tehsil Chirgaon Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 14.01.2018, one person namely Pappu S/O Sh. Shetu Lal R/o Village Janglikh Tehsil Chirgaon obstructed his way, abused and beaten him and his grand-mother brutally. The case is being investigated by HC Jagat Ram, I/O PS Chirgaon.  

4.  During last 24 hours 166 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 77, fine realized Rs. 22,400/- and 15 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,500/-.

FOLLOW-UP

    Accused i) Ram Krishan S/o Sh. Ghanshyam R/o Village & PO Gumma, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla and ii) Bala Ram S/o Sh. Lachhi Ram R/o Village Kothi, PO Himari, Tehsil Kotkhai, Distt. Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 12/18 Dt. 14.01.2018 U/S 20,29-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Dhalli, are remanded in Police custody upto 17.01.2018, by the Ld. Court.
