Crime Report on Jan. 31, 2018

1. A ND&PS: Case FIR No. 19/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 30.01.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of ASI Rampal, I/O PS Shimla Sadar, alleging therein that on 30.01.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling towards Cart Road, Down-Dale in Shimla. At about 07-25 PM when they reached at Railway Line, Path bifurcate to Down-Dale, one person namely Ravi S/o Lt. Sh. Misri Lal R/o Jhuggi No. S-88, Sector-25, Chandigarh near Dainik Bhaskar A/P Dhara, Down-Dale Phagli, Shimla, age 37 years, intercepted by them. During the search, 1.368 Kg. Ganza (Cannabis) recovered from his possession. The accused has been arrested and the case is being investigated by ASI Rampal, I/O PS Sadar.
2. A GRIEVOUS HURT: Case FIR No 13/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 30.01.2018 U/S 325, 504, 34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sukh Lal S/O Sh. Bala Ram R/O village Churat PO Madhawani Tehsil Kumarsain Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on 21.01.2018, two persons namely Shishupal & Vishal Kumar beaten his wife & his son brutally and abused them at Jhakri Bazaar, sustained grievous injuries to his wife & son. The case is being is being investigated by ASI Jeet Ram I/O PS Jhakri.
3. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 06/17 has been registered at PS Sunni today on 31.01.2018 U/S 279,337,338, 304A on the rukka of HC Vinod Kumar I/O PS Sunni alleging therein that today morning, an unknown person hit & crushed by a vehicle near Jitender Car Washing Center at Sunni. The dead body shifted to Government Hospital Sunni for postmortem. The case is being investigated by HC Vinod Kumar I/O PS Sunni.
4. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 26/18 has been registered at PS West on 31.01.2018 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Dharam Singh S/o Sh. Suharu Ram R/o village Buila P/o Saryanj Tehsil Arki Distt Solan alleging therein that on 30.01.2018, a vehicle No.HP03D-1833 collided with a truck No. HP63-0608 which was parked on the road side at Shoghi. This accident happened due to rash and negligent driving of Babloo S/o Sh Babu Ram in which another two persons namely Gopal and Vijay sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Sushant Kumar I/O PS West. 
5. A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: case FIR No. 06/18 has been registered at PS Nankhari on 31.01.2018 U/S 341,323,504,506,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Sant Ram S/o Sh Malak Ram R/o village Banni P/o Khunni Tehsil Nankhari District Shimla alleging therein that on 30.01.2018 Three person namely Timru Ram ,Vijay Kumar And Kaku obstructed his way and beaten him brutally. They also abused and threatened him with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Devinder Nath I/o PS Nankhari.
6. During last 24 hours 254 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 134 fine realized Rs. 46,600/-and 38 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3700/-

2. Accused Ravi S/o Lt. Sh. Misri Lal R/o Jhuggi No. S-88, Sector-25, Chandigarh near Dainik Bhaskar A/P Dhara, Down-Dale Phagli, Shimla, age 37 years arrested in case FIR No. 19/18 dated 30.01.2018 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act at PS Sadar, is remanded in police custody up to 02.02.2018, by the Ld. Court. 

Crime Report on Jan. 30, 2018

1.   AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 07/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 29.01.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Keshav Chand I/C PP Saraswati Nagar alleging therein that on 29.01.2018 at about 07-45 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff towards Nandpur, Badiyar, a person namely Keshav Oli apprehended by them alongwith 12 Bottles of illicit Country liquor. The case is being investigated by ASI Keshav Chand I.O PP Saraswati Nagar.

2.     AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 17/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 29.01.2018 u/s 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Devi Ram, I/O PS Kumarsain alleging therein that on 29.01.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling at Kumarsain Bazaar. On the secret information, they conducted raid in the meat shop of Rakesh Kumar S/o Late Sh. Chet Ram R/o Vill Jogsha PO & Tehsil Kumarsain and recovered 12 bottles of illicit Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Ram I.O PS Kuamarsain.

3.      AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 09/18 has been registered at PS New Shimla on 30.01.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka  of SI Lakshman Kumar, SHO PS New Shimla alleging therein that today on 30.01.2018, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/traffic checking & collection of intelligence in the jurisdiction of PS New Shimla. At about 11-15 AM, when they reached near Hanuman Temple, Khalini, they got a secret information that one person namely Rohit indulge in illegally selling of liquor from dhara below Forest Rest House, Khalini. On this, they conducted raid and recovered 44 Bottles of illicit Country liquor marka Una No.1 from the possession of Rohit S/o Sh. Shyam Lal R/o Vidya Bhawan, Lower Khalini Shimla, age 26 years. The case is being investigated by SI Lakshman Kumar, SHO PS New Shimla.

4.    A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 15/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 29.01.2018 u/s 3,4 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Ashish Kumar I/O PS Rohru alleging therein that on 29-01-2018 during patrolling alongwith staff, 08 persons namely Sunil Sharma, Rakesh, Rahul, Manjul Datta, Lucky Chauhan, Gulshan Chauhan, Bhavnesh Data and  Suresh Kumar apprehended by them during playing gambling in public place at New Sabzi Mandi and recovered Rs.  22,500/- on the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Ashish Kumar I/O PS Rohru.

5.   AN ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT FROM DISCHARGE OF HIS DUTY: Case FIR No. 05/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 29.01.2018 U/S 353 332 504 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Jagdish Chand S/o Sh. Narotam Dass R/o Kulgaon PO Pujarli Tehsil Rohru Shimla alleging in therein that he is serving as Lineman in Electricity Board at Sub-Division Kotkhai. A High Transmission Line was damaged at Bagapul due to felling of tree. On 29.01.2018 at about 10-30 AM, when he along with staff was repairing the above HT Line and asked the reason of felling of tree from a local person namely Mr. Bal Krishan S/o Sh. Mohi Ram R/o Pujarali Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla. On this, he started to quarrelling and beaten him brutally during performing his govt. duty and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Ranjit Singh, I/O PS Kotkhai.

Crime Report on Jan. 29, 2018

1.    An Excise Act case FIR No. 11/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 28-01-2018 u/s 39 HP Excise act on the rukka of  ASI Bir Singh I/O PS Jhakri alleging that on 28.01.2018 at about 03:06 PM when he alongwith staff was on partolling towards Sanarsa and reached at Rattanpur he intercepted one person namely Mast Ram S/O Sh. Devender Singh R/O Shanadhar PO Kartor Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP and recovered 15 bottles of country liquor UNA No.1 from his possession The case is being investigation by ASI Bir Singh I/O PS Jhakri.

2.    An Accident case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 28.01.18 u/s 279 IPC on the application of Sh. Sanjay Chauhan S/o Sh. Hari Dass  Chauhan R/o Village Gamsot PO Bonda Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla alleging therein that on 28.01.18 at about 3;30 PM he has parked his vehicle No. HP03(T)4242 inside the road at Gamsot at the same time one vehicle No. HP52(T) 2004 driven by Pawan Kumar S/O Sh. Kamal Dass R/O Talara came rashly and negligently and hit his vehicle & damaged his vehicle. The case is being investigating by HC Ram Lal I/O PP Sarahan.

3.   A wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation case FIR No. 16/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 28-01-2014 u/s 341,323,506,34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Anil Kumar S/o Sh. Roshan Lal R/o VIll Ghadewati PO Oddi Tehsil Kumarsain stated therein that on 28-01-2018 when he was going to home from Oddi at the same time Nikhil his brother Akhil and Phool Chand obstructed his way, beaten him with iron road and stick and threatened with dire consequences. In this incident he sustained injuries.

4.    A Forest Act case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Chopal dated 28.01.18 U/S 379 IPC & 32,33 IF Act on the complaint of Sh. Purshotam Thakur R.F.O. Sarain. alleging therein that when he was on patrolling alongwith staff, he checked the store of Rakesh Kumar S/O Sh. Devi Singh R/O Vill. Thunth, PO and Tehsil Chopal and recovered 3325 litters illicit Cedar oil from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Rohit Kumar I/O PS Chopal.

5.    A Forest Act case FIR No.13/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 28.01.18 U/S 379 IPC & 32,33 IF Act on the complaint of Sh. Purshotam Thakur R.F.O Sarain alleging therein that when he was on patrolling alongwith staff he checked the Garden of mast Ram S/O Lt. sh. Rellu Ram R/O Vill. Lingjar PO Sarain, Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla and recovered 6800 litter illicit Cedar oil from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Virender Kumar I/O PS Chopal.

6.    A Forest Act case FIR No.14/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 28.01.18 U/S 379 IPC & 32,33 IF Act on the complaint of Purshotam Thakur R.F.O Sarain alleging therein that when he was on patrolling along with staff he checked the house of Ramesh Kumar S/O Lt. Sh. Rellu Ram R/O Vill. Lingjar PO Sarain, Tehsil Chopal Distt. Shimla and recovered 7200 litter illicit Cedar oil from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Virender Kumar I/O PS Chopal.

7.    A Theft case FIR No. 22/18 has been registered at PS West today on 29-01-2018 u/s 379,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Gaurav Sharma S/o Late Sh. BM Sharma R/o Gian Niwas Airport road Totu Tehsil & Distt. Shimla contractor of under construction road of Shoghi-Mehli alleging therein that in the intervening night of 28/29-01-2018 three persons namely Raghubir Singh, Randeep Singh and Ram Singh stolen the diesel from their vehicle and machine  parked in the store established at village Patiyud. The accused has been arrested and case is being investigated by HC Kiran Kumar I.O. PS West.

8.    A Fire Incident case FIR No. 23/18 has been registered at PS West today on 29-01-2018 u/s 435 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Lalit Kumar S/o Sh. Asis Ram R/o Vill Vashil PO Mamlil Tehsil Kandaghat Distt. Solan alleging therein that the driver of his Vehicle(Innova) No. HP64A-4715 has parked his vehicle near Sankat Monchen Shimla and handed over the key to him. After that complainant  had gone to PGI, Chandigarh for his treatment. Subsequently when he return back from PGI, Chandigarh he asked his friends to brought the vehicle from Sankat Mochen where they found the car in burnt condition. The case is being investigated by HC Chander Shekhar I.O PS West.    

9.      A Negligent conduct with respect to fire case FIR No. 14/18 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 29-01-2018 u/s 285 IPC on the complaint of Vikram Singh S/o Sh. Amar Chand R/o VPO Tikker Tehsil Rohru alleging therein that when he was coming back to his home from Kotkhai his younger brother Daulat Ram informed him that when Shiv Saran  R/o Thana, Tikker and his labourer Ramesh Bahadur was burning garbage in his orchard fire spread suddenly and 120 apple trees of complainant orchard burnt due to this negligent act of Shiv Saran and his labourer Ramesh Bahadur. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagirath I/C PP Tikker.

10.  A Copy Right Act case FIR No. 25/18 has been registered at PS West today on 29-01-2018 u/s 63 Indian Copyright Act on the compliant of Sh. Baljeet Singh S/o Sh. Darshan Singh R/o House No. 219 Moti Bag ColonyVPO Phulonwal Pankholwal Road Ludhiana alleging therein that Good Media News Pvt. Ltd. has pirated the channels of Sony and run illegally  from its office at Kachhighatti Shimla. The case is being investigated by SI Vijay Kumar I.O PS West.

Crime Report on Jan. 28, 2018

1.      An Excise Act case FIR No. 13/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 27-01-2018 u/s 39(1) HP Excise act on the rukka of ASI Bhagirath I/C PP Tikkar alleging therein that on 27-01-2018 evening he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty toward Tiludhar near Koti. During patrolling he received a secret information and raided the kariyana shop of Harish Jinta S/o Sh. Rosan Lal Vil Sajar PO Pujarli-4 Tehsil Rohru and recovered 10 bottles of country liquor and 12 bottles of English liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagirath I/C PP Tikkar PS Rohru.

2.      An Accident case FIR No. 15/18 has been registered at PS Theog today on 28-01-2018 u/s 279,337,304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Ajit Singh I.O PS Theog alleging therein that one Alto Car No. HP10-0455 met with an accident near Village Bhalech Theog due to rash and negligent driving of driver Rajinder Singh S/o Laiq Ram R/o Vill Bhalech PO Sarivan Tehsil Theog Distt Shimla and rolled down from the road. In this accident Rajinder Singh died on the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Ajeet Singh I.O PS Theog.

3.      A Theft case FIR No. 04/18 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 28-01-2018 u/s 457,380 IPC  on the complaint of Smt. Kamta Sidta W/o Sh. Narayan Singh at present C/o Mast Ram building near PWD rest House Kotkahi alleging therein in that he is serving as nurse in CHC Kotkhai. On 27-01-2018 he was on night duty in hospital and today morning when he reached in her room he found that the door lock of her room, Kanwar Singh and Roop Kaushal were broken. When he checked the household articles he found that one Refrigerator, Washing machine, Induction & Gas Cylinder were stolen. The above same articles were stolen off from the room of Kanwar Singh and one blanket from the room of Roop Kaushal was stolen by unknown person. The case is being investigated by HC Ashok Kumar I.O PS Kotkhai.  

4.      A Forest Act case FIR No. 11/18 has been registered at PS Chopal today on 28-01-2018 u/s 379 IPC & 32,33 Indian Forest Act on the complaint of Sh. Purshotam Thakur R.F.O. Sarain, Chopal alleging therein that he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty. During patrolling when he reached at Dogda Nala near Shop of Kirpa Ram it started to smell of cedar oil. On this he searched the shop of Kirpa Ram S/o Ramsa R/o Vill Kyari PO Sarain Tehsil Chopal and recovered 430 litter of Cedar Oil from his possession. The case is being investigated by HC Naresh Kumar I.O. PS Chopal.

5.      A Resistance or obstruction by a person to his lawful apprehension case FIR No. 18/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 27-01-2018 u/s 224 IPC on the complaint of HHC Rakshpal No. 657 presently posted at Central Model Jail Kanda, Shimla alleging therein that on 27-01-2018 he alongwith Const. Vijay No. 731 brought Accused Sunil Kumar S/o Bhajan Dass R/o Mohalla Uppar Julakhadi PO Hardaspur Tehsil and Distt. Chamba to DDU Zonal Hospital Shimla for medical checkup. At about 11-30 AM accused Sunil Kumar has taken advantage of the crowd and ran away. Subsequently they searched him in Shimla city and caught at Khalini. The case is being investigated by HC Rohit I.O. PS Sadar.

6.      An Unlawful Assembly  case FIR No. 16/18 has been registered at PS Theog today on 28-01-2018 at u/s 143,341 IPC on the rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand I/C PP Chailla alleging therein that today at about 01-30 PM Kapil Bhardwaj, Mohinder Verma, Bhagat Ram, Roop Kashyap, Vivek Kalta, Vipin and other unlawfully assembled at Chailla bazzar and started shouted slogan in support of their demands and also obstructed the flow of traffic on Shimla-Kotkhai road. The case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh I/C PP Chailla.

Crime Report on Jan. 27, 2018

INQUEST REPORT:

    Today on 27.01.2018, an unidentified male dead body, found near Jeori in the jurisdiction of PS Jhakri. The autopsy of dead body has been conducted at MG MSC Khaneri and kept in mortuary for identification.    

1. AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 10/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 26.01.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Rajesh Kumar S/o Sh. Ganga Dass R/o Village & PO Jeori Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, age 48 years stated therein that on 26.01.2018, he alongwith two ladies passengers was going to Maglad in his Auto. At about 05-40 PM, when they reached at Kochari Petrol Pump, at the same time one Bolero Camper came rashly from Jeori side with negligent driving & after hit his vehicle rolled down from the road, caused sustained injuries to ladies passengers & driver of above Bolero camper. The case is being investigated by HC Ravinder Kumar, I/O PP Jeori.

2.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Rampur today on 27.01.2018 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Palvinder Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Harvinder Singh R/o Village & PO Mashobra, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, HP stated therein  that on 26.01.2018 at about 09-00 PM, he was going towards Chandigarh in Truck No. HP06A-2114. As he reached near New Nirsu, at the same time one Motorcycle No. HP06A-2686 came rashly from Dutt Nagar side and collide with above Truck. In this accident, Motorcycle Rider namely Pune Ram S/o Sh. Lajji Ram R/o Village Nauni (Nohra) PO Urtoo Tehsil Nirmand, Distt. Kullu, age 24 years died on the spot and tow persons namely Dola Ram  & Karan Negi sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Garib Dass, I/O PS Rampur.

3.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 06/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 27.01.2018 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC on the rukka of ASI Gurdev Singh, I/O PS Nerwa alleging therein that on 26.01.2018 at about 07-30 PM, one Alto Car No. UK07BY-5898 met with an accident near Sangroti Nala and rolled down 100 mtrs. from the road due to rash & negligent driving of Bhavesh @ Ravi S/o Lt. Sh. Sohan Singh R/o Village Shirguldhar PO Kaidi Tehsil Nerwa Distt. Shimla, age 23 years. In this accident, driver Bhavesh @ Ravi above and Virender S/O Sh Neem Bhahadur Vill Rana kiyar PO Kedi Tehsil Nerwa Distt Shimla age 20 years, died on the spot and one person namely Suresh @ Chhotu S/o Sh. Ram  Singh R/o Village Dawada PO Kaidi Tehsil Nerwa, Shimla, age 20 years, sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Gurdev Singh, I/O PS Nerwa.

4.   AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 24/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli today on 27.01.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukka of ASI Joginder Sing I/O PS Dhalli alleging therein that today on 27.01.2018 at about 02-30 AM, two vehicles bearing No. DL1CU-6593 Kwid & HP52A-7009  skid  from the road due to ice frozen & rolled down near Dawat Hotel, Dhalli due to rash and negligent driving of drivers of above vehicles. In this accident Jyoti Raj Ditya, Utkarsh, Ujjwal, Vivek, Sahitya, Kapil, Aakash Verma and Manoj sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Joginder Singh I/O PS Dhalli.

5.   AN ATTEMPT TO MURDER: Case FIR No. 23/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 26.01.2018 U/S 341, 307, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Nok Ram S/o Late Sh. Molak Ram R/o Vill Katali PO Gumma Tehsil Sunni age 40 years stated therein that on 26.01.2018 at about 04-30 PM when he alongwith his wife and Nepali labourer were  working in his field, at the same time his uncle Inder Singh, his son Gagan came to his field and beaten him with sticks and threatened him with dire consequences. Subsequently, Gagan hit on his head with sharp weapon with the intention to kill him. The case is being investigated by ASI Krishan Lal I/C PP Mashobra.

6.  A THEFT: Case FIR No. 17/18 has been registered at PS Shimla Sadar on 26.01.2018 U/S 379 IPC  on the complaint of Sh. R.P.S. Sidhu O/o DGM, SJVNL, Shanan, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 11/12.01.2018, some unknown person has stolen away his Maruti Esteem Car bearing registration No. HP03B-0868, parked near his house at Surjeet Sadan. The case is being investigated by HC Rameshwar, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.

7.  A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 20/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 26.01.2018 U/S 147, 149, 323, 504, 506 IPC on the statement of Sh. Tarun S/o Sh. Devinder Jeet A/P working in Hundey Show Room, Chintpurni, Kachighati, Shimla alleging therein that on 26.01.2018, his brother namely Pushpender was surrounded by 5/6 persons namely Yashpal Joshi, Mohan Joshi, Pummy Joshi, Paritosh Joshi, Saurav & Kaku in front of his shop & beaten him with wooden/iron rods. On this, when he came out from his, they also beaten him brutally and threatened them with dire consequences and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram, I/O PS West.

8.   A RIOTING: Case FIR No. 21/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 26.01.2018 U/S 147, 148, 149, 323, 504 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Yashpal Joshi S/o Lt. Sh. Dhani Ram Joshi R/o Joshi Bhawan, Kachighati, Shimla alleging therein that on 26.01.2018, his neighbourer house owner, his wife & sister were abusing him since morning, but he ignore it. At about 12-30 PM, Pushpender, Rinku alongwith 8 another peoples & 2 ladies come towards his house and beaten his brother Pawan, Rishav with rods or Base bat, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Kiran Kumar, I/O PS Shimla West.

9.   AN ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE TO DETER PUBLIC SERVANT FROM DISCHARGE OF HIS DUTY: Case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Rohru u/s 353 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rajinder Sharma RM HRTC Depo. Rohru alleging therein that today one person namely Anil Kumar driver of Vikhta travel bus No. HP63C-0362 manhandled the driver namely Sh. Parveen Kumar of HRTC bus No. HP66-1341 at Seema and obstructed him to perform his duty. The case is being investigated by HC Aashish Kumar PS Rohru.

1.    AN ND & PS ACT: Case FIR No. 10/18 has been registered at PS East on dated 25.01.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Shimla East on the rukka of SI Raghuveer, I/C PP Kasumpti, Shimla alleging therein that on 25.01.2018 at about 01-30 PM, during patrolling/traffic checking alongwith staff, one person namely Raju S/o Sh. Jokhru Ram R/o Village Bhangaal PO Tikkeri Neol, Tehsil Chopal, Shimla, age 28 years, intercepted by them on Kasumpti Bazar-SDA complex road near Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Bhawan and recovered 67 gram Charas from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Raghuveer, I/C PP Kasumpti Shimla. 

2.    AN ND & PS ACT: Case FIR No. 14/18 has been registered at PS Theog on dated 25.01.18 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Theog on the rukka of ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila (Theog) alleging therein that on 25.01.2018 at about 09-15 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff at Parala, one person namely Sumesh Verma S/o Sh. Laiq Ram Verma R/o Village Thanadhar PO Chanair Tehsil & PS Theog, Shimla, age 35 years, intercepted by them and recovered 360 gram Charas from his possession. Accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Purshotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila (Theog). 

3.    A BURGLARY Case FIR No. 07/18 has been registered at PS Chirgaon on dated 25.01.18 U/S 457 380 IPC PS Chirgaon on the complaint of Sh. Surender Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Shwala Nand R/o Bhonda Tehsil Chirgaon, Shimla alleging therein that some unknown person has broken the door locks of his house and stolen away gold/silver ornaments i.e. Chain, Mangalsutra, Tops, Kante, Gokhru, Bawru, Bracelet & cash Rs. 10,000/- in between 11.01.2018 to 25.01.2018. The approximate value of stolen property is Rs. 3.50 lacs. The case is being investigated by ASI Suresh Kumar, I/O PS Chirgaon.

4.    AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No. 21/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on dated 25.01.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Ms ABC R/o Jout, PO Rawla Kyar, Kotkhai, Shimla stated therein that she hired a taxi No HP01-2328 driven by Sh. Anil S/o Sh. Tota Ram R/o Vill. Kalali, PO Maloothi, Tehsil & Distt Shimla from Peterhoff, as she reached Nr Dhalli byepass above taxi skid on ice and rolled down from the road. The case is being investigated by HC Teja Singh N0 71 I/O P.S. Dhalli.

5.    AN ACCIDENT Case FIR No. 08/18 has been registered at PS New Shimla on dated 25-01-2018 U/s 279, 337 IPC the complaint of Sh. Sohan Verma S/o Late Sh. Kewal Ram R/o Giri Ganga Hotel Chhaila, PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, Distt Shimla, alleging therein that on dated 25.01.218 at Khalini Chowk when he was sitting in his Vehicle No. HP 09C-1103, a Truck No. HP 38B-5058 come from opposite side and cut his right hand thumb. 6.    A CHEATING Case FIR No. 22/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on dated 25/01/2018 U/S 420 IPC on the application of Mr Suresh Dutt S/o Sh. Om Prakash R/o Vill. Parthana, PO Dublu, Junga, Shimla alleging therein that he received a phone call from mobile No. 82980-76492 from PNB Janedghat and required his ATM Number and withdrawn amounting to Rs. 9000/-,20,000/-,100/-, 10,000/-, 10,000/- (Total Rs. 49,100/-) from his account. The case is being investigated by ASI Om Parkash I/C P.P. Junga, P.S. Dhalli.

7.    WRONGFUL RESTRAINT Case FIR NO 07/2018 has been registered at PS Jhakri on dated 25-01-2018 U/S 341, 504 IPC on the application of Sonam Tamang R/O VPO Sarahan Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging that on dated 25-01-2018 morning when he was driving the Bus No. HP63-5041 and was going to Rampur from Block point ( Rai Khaad), an another bus Vansh coach came there & obstructed his way & conductor of Vanch coach abused him. Case is being investigating by ASI Purshtom I/C PP Sarahan.

8.    WRONGFUL RESTRAINT Case FIR NO 08/2018 has been registered at PS Jhakri on dated 25-01-2018 U/S 341, 504, 506 IPC  on the application of Suleman S/O Moh. Ali R/O vpo Duttnagar Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP, alleging that on dated 25-01-2018 at about 09-33 am when he reached at Block point (Rai Khaad), one person namely Sonam Tamang driver of Bus No. HP63-5041 obstructed him to take a route & abused him. He also threatened to the conductor of Vansh coach. Case is being investigating by HC Ram Lal  I/O PP Sarahan.      

9.    WRONGFUL RESTRAINT Case FIR NO 09/2018 has been registered at PS Jhakri on dated 25-01-2018 U/S 341, 323, 34 IPC on the statement of Sh. Santosh Kumar S/O Sh. Prem Dass R/O Dobi PO Kartot Tehsil Rampur Distt. Shimla HP alleging therein that on dated 25-01-2018 at about 7.00 PM when he was coming back to his home from market two person namely Chandi Ram & Vishal obstructed his way & beaten him with kicks & punches. In this incident he sustained injuries in his head, forehead, right side eye, & mouth . The case is being investigating by HC Suresh Kumar I/O PS Jhakri.

1.      A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 14/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 24.01.2018 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Kamla Devi W/o Lt. Sh. R.D. Atri R/o Sethi Niwas, Kaithu Shimla alleging therein that on 13.10.2017, some unknown person has cheated her by debiting cash amounting to Rs. 30,000/- from her PNB saving account. The case is being investigated by ASI Devi Singh, I/O PS Sadar.    

2.   A FOREST ACT: Case FIR No. 09/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 24.01.2018 U/S 379 IPC & 32,33 The Indian Forest Act on the complaint of Sh. Parshotam Thakur A/P R.O. Forest Sarain Tehsil Chopal that Sh. Ranveer Singh A/P B.O. Forest Sarain, informed him that on 23.01.2018 at 04-00 PM, when he along with forest guards was on patrolling on Beat No.-6, at Kayari and recovered forest containers of illicit cedar wood oil from the possession of Rama Nand S/o Kewal Ram R/o Village Nuenal PO Dhabas, Tehsil Chopal. 3.      A THEFT: Case FIR No. 12/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 24.01.2018 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Himanshu Upadhay A/P  Project Manager, Theog Bypass road, alleging therein that some unknown person has stolen away the tyre, Battery & original documents of vehicles No. HP63-3174 & HP-63-3196, parked outside their residence. Fagu Section reported him that on the intervening night of 24.01.2018, some unknown person has stolen away 100 KVA, 22/0.4 KV Transformer, installed at Khalasi (Fagu), due to which LWSS Scheme can not be operated by the I&PH Deptt. Crime Report on Jan. 24, 2018

1.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 08/18 has been registered at PS Chopal on 23.01.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Rakesh S/O Sh. Rati Ram R/O Village Garah PO Nerwa Tehsil Nerwa District Shimla HP stated therein that one vehicle No. HP52B-7077 Pick-Up met with an accident near Dhabas due to rash and negligent driving of Sanjeev S/O Sh. Prem Singh R/O Village Jaral Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla. In this accident, two persons sustained injured. The case is being investigated by HC Ankush Rana, I/O PS Chopal.

2.  AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 06/18 has been registered at PS Jubbal on 23.01.2018  U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Puni Lal S/O Sh. Devnu Ram R/o Village & PO Sheel Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 23.01.2018 at about 04:10 PM, he was coming to home. On the way, he took lift in Car No. HOP10B-1558, driven by Saurabh S/O Sh. Pre Prajash Pirta village. Jhalri PO Deem Tehsil Jubbal, who was coming with his parents.  At about 04:30 PM, when they reached near Village Deem, above car met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Saurabh and rolled down 50/60 feet from the road into deep ditch, sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath I/O PS Jubbal.

3.     AN ACCIDENT:  Case FIR No. 18/18 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on 24.01.2018 U/S 279, 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Ms. Shallu D/o Sh. Sadhu Ram R/o Village & PO Shilla Tehsil Poanta Sahib District Sirmaur, A/P student in HP University, Shimla stated therein that she is residing as a tenant in the house of Sudama Sharma at Sangati, Shimla. On 23.01.2018, she alongwith her friends Ms. Suman D/o Sh. Dumand Singh R/o Village Mathyana, PO Gawali, Tehsil Shillai, Sirmaur and Pankaj S/o Sh. Sunder Singh R/o Shillai, Sirmaur was going to Lower Summerhill. At about 06-00 PM, one vehicle No. HP07C-2992 (Scorpio) came rashly with negligent driving and hit her friend Suman and run away from the spot. In this accident, her friend Ms. Suman, sustained injuries to her. The case is being investigated by HC Mehar Singh, I/O PP Summer Hill. 

4.      A FIRE INCIDENT: Case FIR No. 15/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 23.01.2018 U/S 285,34 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rajeshwer Kumar, Forest Guard, Beat Sainj, Kumarsain alleging therein that on 23.01.2018, Fire incident took place in Sainj Forest. On this, he alongwith Chowkidar and villagers reached at Kofri and found that four persons namely Devinder S/o Sh. Amar Chand, Rakesh S/O Chiter Singh Nepali, Vikas S/O Vinod and Desh Raj Nepali were set a fire in the above forest. The case is being investigated by HC Bupender Singh, I/O PP Sainj.

5.      During last 24 hours 134 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 73, fine realized Rs. 27,800/-, 17 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1,700/- and 02 Challaned under Mining Act & fine realized Rs. 15,000/-.

INQUEST REPORT

1.    On 24.01.2018, Deceased Ravi Bhandari C/o Sh. Raman Sharma R/o Village Kundli Shwala Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, age 40/45 years found dead near Apple Crown, NH Road Kotkhai. During preliminary enquiry, it seems that deceased has died due to cold & consumption of alcohol. The dead body shifted to CHC Kotkhai for further legal proceeding.

2.     On 24.01.2018, Deceased Vijay (Nepali) C/o Sh. Gagnesh R/o Village Dansar PO Mahori Tehsil Theog, Shimla, age 25/28 years found dead in orchard near Mahori in the jurisdiction of PS Theog, due to consumption of alcohol. Proceeding U/S 174 Cr.PC  is being conducted by ASI Prushotam Chand, I/C PP Chhaila.

1.      Accused Bhup Singh S/o Late Sh. Tulsi Ram R/o Vill Shalot (Tos) PO Koti Teshil and Distt. Shimla age 62 years has been arrested in case FIR No. 11/18 dated 12-01-2018 u/s 379 IPC and 32,33,41,42 Indian Forest Act at PS Dhalli today released on bail, by the Ld. Court.
