Crime Report on November 23, 2018

1.    An Accident : Case  FIR No. 61/18 has been egistered at PS Nankhari  U/S  279 IPC & 187 MV Act on the comlaint of Sh Vipin Kumar S/o Sh Paras Ram village Junja P/o Delath Tehsil Nankhari District Shimla alleging therein that on 23.11.2018 a Tipper No. 06 A-0363  driven by Ankush S/o Sh Gulab Singh Thakur village shakla Post office and Tehsil Nankhari District Shimla came rashly from Nankhari  side and hit his vehicle along with other two vehicle which were parked one side  the road and run away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Devinder Nath I/O PS Nankhari.

2.    An Accident: Case  FIR No 118/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 23.11.18 U/S 279, 304A IPC has been  registered  on the rukka  of  ASI  Sunil  Dutt   I/C  PP Sarhan  alleging there in that  on dated 22.11.2018 a tractor  No   HP06A-9323 mat with an accident  near   Bajwa   and  rolled  down 250 meters from  the road  in which driver    Prem  S/o  Sh  Surander  Kharka  C/O  Chabhi Lal  R/O VPO  Jhakri aged 22 years  has been died  on the   spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Sunil  Dutt I/C PP Sarhan .

3.    A Cheting:  Case FIR No. 254/18 has been registred at PS Sadar On 22.11.2018 U/S 420, 120B IPC on the complaint of  Sh Hem Raj Sharma A/P Chief Manager Bank of Baroda alleging therein that his bank issue an amount of Rs 23 Lakhs as a loan in the favour of Main Ram Bhimta S/o Sh Kali Das R/o VPO Ranoul Tehsil Chirgaon District Shimla and Shubham S/o Sh Karam Chand R/o village Jarech P/o Beolia Tehsil and Distt Shimla and released Rs 8 lakh for purchase of land but after releasing of amount they did not summited sale deed documents to the bank for purpose of Mortgage the property and also not returned amount of 8 Lakhs to the Bank. The case is being investigated by ASI Dhanvir Singh I/O PS Sadar.

Mam Chand R/o Village & PO Sikhri Mohalla Traudi Patti, PS Buthana, Tehsil Nilokhedi, District Karnal, Haryana, age 50 years, arrested in case FIR No. 73/08 Dt. 18.08.2008 U/S 381 408 411 IPC at PS Rohru, is remanded in Judiacal custody upto 05.12.2018 by the LD Court.  

Crime Report on Nov. 22, 2018

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 253/18 has been registered at PS Sadar on 21.11.2018 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Hem Chand, I/O PS Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on 21.11.2018, during patrolling alongwtih staff at Krishna Nagar Shimla, one person namely Mangat Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Faquir Chand R/o House No.-4, Labour Hostel, Krishna Nagar, Shimla, age 40 years apprehended by them at Love-Kush Chowk and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand, I/O PS Sadar, Shimla.

2.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 340/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 21.11.2018 U/S 420 467 468 471 IPC on the complaint of Director, Army Recruitment Office alleging therein that  a notification of 2018 has been released under his supervision for the recruitment of post for General duty in Army for Districts Shimla, Solan, Sirmaur & Kinnaur. On 11.08.2018, after the written examination, 776 candidates have been selected. Before the joining of selected candidates, their date of birth certificates on the basis of 10^th certificates have been verified from the concerned Board or school. After verification 759 selected candidates have been sent for training.  But after checking the matric certificates of 14 candidates, the documents related to date of Birth or Matric certificates of 08 candidates were found different as they submitted during earlier recruitment  of ARO office.  08 of these candidates have submitted their forgery documents in order to enroll in the general duty in the Indian Army. The case is being investigated by SI Mast Ram, I/O PS West Shimla.

3.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 157/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 21.11.2018 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ritesh S/o Sh. Amar Chand R/o Village Batara PO Pujarli No.-3, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that in July 2018, an advertisement for govt. job was printed in Amar Ujala in the name of Kisan Sewa Kendra. He received a call from call centre Mob. No. 08650984189 and assured him to provide the govt. job and asked him to send the scan certificates and deposited Rs. 1500/- in the Account No. 10022243467 of Mr. Neeraj.  He sent scan documents and transferred Rs. 1500/- from his account. After a week, he received a letter from R.P. Mittal, 31 Netaji Subhash Marg, Daryaganj, New Delhi in which he was informed to send the money as security fees, bound paper, training fee and other charges amounting to Rs. 2,25,000/- in the above account no. of IDFC account. He deposited the above amount, but they did not provide him job so far and cheated him. The case is being investigated by HC Madan Singh, I/O PP Tikker (Rohru).

Crime Report on Nov. 21, 2018.

1.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 228/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 20.11.18 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Rajesh Kumar, I/O PS Theog alleging therein that on 20.11.2018, on the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the shop (General Store)/ Residential Building of Sh. Sanjeev Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Rattan Chand Sharma R/o Village Rail (Sahnog), PO Balag, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla and recovered 12 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh Kumar, I/C PS Theog.

2.    A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 124/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.11.2018 U/S 3, 4 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of HC Rajesh Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 20/21.11.2018, he alongwtih staff was on patrolling towards Sainj. At about 03-30 AM, on the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the  house (ground floor) of Sh. Rohit Singha and apprehended 13 persons during playing gambling with cards and recovered 55,460/- from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Rajesh Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain.

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 229/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 21.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Sandeep S/o Sh. Hari Chand R/o Village Nanno, PO Balag, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, HP, age 45 years stated therein that on 20.11.2018 at about 11-00 AM, one car met with accident and rolled down 50 feet from the road near Naina Kainchi, sustained injuries to two persons.  The case is being investigated by ASI Chet Ram, I/C PP Deha, Theog.

4.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 116/18 has been registered at PS Jhakri on 20.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the rukka of HC Vinod Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri Shimla alleging therein that on 20.11.2018, one tractor met with an accident at Det Jeori on National Highway-05 due to rash & negligent driving of Tractor Driver namely Vickey S/o Sh. Bali Ram R/o Nepali A/P C/o Charan Dass Ghagta R/o Village & PO Sarahan, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Vinod Kumar, I/O PS Jhakri.

5.    AN ACCIDENT: Case Fir No.125/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.11.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ram Lal S/O Late Sh. Bala Ram R/o village Barog, PO Kandagai, Tehsil Anni, District Kullu, stated therein that today he along with his family members was going to home from Shimla in vehicle No. HP02K-0550. As they reached near Narkanda above vehicle met with an accident and rolled down from the Road due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Megh Singh, sustained injuries to them. The Case is being investigated by HC Ramsain IO PP Narkanda.

Crime Report on Nov. 20, 2018

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 253/18 has been registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 19.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC in which complainant stated that her two children namely Mohit- age 7 years & Manjeet-age 6 years are studying in KV School Jakhu, Shimla. On 19.11.2018 at about 03-30 PM, when she alongwith her children was stood near Sanjauli Rain Shelter, at the same time an unknown vehicle came rashly with negligent driving and hit her son Mohit, sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by HC Daljeet Singh, I/O PP Lakkar Bazar, Shimla.     

2.    AN EXCISE ACT: Case FIR No. 227/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 19.11.18 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu, Theog alleging therein that on 19.11.2018 at 05-40 PM, on the secret information, a raid has been conducted in the shop of Sh. Atma Ram S/o Lt. Sh. Kanshi Ram R/o Village Majhar, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla and recovered 08 Bottles of Country liquor from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Brij Lal, I/C PP Fagu, Theog.

Crime Report on Nov. 19, 2018

1.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 226/18 has been registered at PS Theog on 19.11.2018 U/S 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120B IPC on the complaint of Sh. Daleep S/o Sh. Kali Ram R/o Village & PO Sarog, Tehsil Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 29.11.2015, he has opened the account limit upto Rs. 2 lacs in Bank of India branch at Sarog, Theog from which he withdrwal Rs. 50 thousand. On 17.04.2017, he visited the bank to withdraw the money and came to know that amounting to Rs. one lacs had been withdrawal from his account by put thumb impression on withdrawal form. However, during withdrawal of money, he always used his signature on withdrawal form. When he complaint with Bank Manager Sh. Yogesh Negi, he told him that you have withdraw the above amount by put your finger prints due to fracture in his hand. He also came to know about 10/12 more the same cases lying in above branch. He doubts that the above bank employees cheated him. The case is being investigated by ASI Tenzen Chhering, I/O PS Theog, Shimla.

Crime Report on Nov. 18, 2018

1.    AN INJURY WITH SHARP WEAPON: Case FIR No. 134/18 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 18.11.2018 U/S 324 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ravinder Sharma S/o Lt. Sh. Brahm Dass Sharma R/o Village Bhaleti Pathia, PO Dohgi, Tehsil Bangana, Una A/P Savitri Niwas, near Brinda Home Stay, Mehli, Shimla stated therein that  he is running Meat shop in his rented shop at Dhobhighat, Chhota Shimla. He landed a gas cylinder from Sukender Kumar, who is running a meat shop at Kasumpti Bazar and known to him for the last 2 years. He gave Rs. 600/- and promised him to pay remaining Rs. 1000/- later. On 17.11.2018 at about 09-00 PM, when he reached at Kasumpti Chowk, above Sukender Kumar demanded his money and started to quarrel with him and attacked on him with drat. He sustained injuries on his left hand.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 77/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 18.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Mohd. Gulzar S/o Sh. Shafi Mohd. R/o Village Kihal (Kiyarla), PO Kedi, Tehsil Nerwa, District Shimla stated therein that today morning he alongwith his sister-in-law & his cousin brother Ibbas was going to Rohru in Bolero Pick-UP No. HP06-2786, driven by Ibbas. Due to break-down, Ibbas stopped the vehicle at Jhamradi and get down them from the vehicle. As Ibbas was parked above vehicle and rolled down from the road due to negligent driving of Ibbas and died on the way to CH Nerwa. The case is being investigated by HC Ankush Rana, I/O PS Nerwa.

Crime Report on Nov. 16, 2018

1.     A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 334/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 15.11.2018 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kailash Chand Tripathi S/o Lt. Sh. Suresh Chander Tripathi R/o Court Colony, Theog, Shimla alleging therein that on 06.11.2018, an unknown person has withdrawn amounting to Rs. 48,400/- from his account through PNB ATM at Shoghi, by exchanging his ATM card with another card, when he visited to PNB ATM at Sankat Mochan Shimla on 05.11.2018. The case is being investigated by HC Dev Raj, I/O PP Narkanda.

2.     A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 156/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 15.11.2018 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Wilson Jhamta S/o Sh. Kana Singh R/o Village Shargal PO Kui, Tehsil Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 15.09.2018, three perons namely Tinku, Vimal Jeet Pal & Lalit came to his shop and told him that their company Bio Uman Pvt. Care Manufacture deals with all kinds of product. They offered him to supply the company’s product and asked to deposit some cash in advance. On this, he deposited amounting to Rs. 3 lacs in the account provided by them. But, neither they have sent any product to him, nor returned his money and cheated him. The case is being investigated by ASI Shanti Swaroop, I/O PS Rohru. 

3.     A GRIEVOUS INJURY: Case FIR No. 155/18 has been registered at PS Rohru on 15.11.2018 U/S 326 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Arjun Kumar S/o Sh. Brij Lal R/o Vilage House No. 725, Gali No.-3, Parwali Road, Faridkot, Punjab A/P Samala, Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that on 20.10.2018, he alongwith his brother Vikram Kumar was at Samala, At the same time a person namely Lokinder @ Gulu came there and beaten them brutally. On this, he was medically examined at CH Rohru and Medical Officer has given grievous injury to him in final opinion. The case is being investigated by ASI Shanti Swaroop, I/O PS Rohru.

4.        During last 24 hours 414 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 120 and 13 Persons challaned under Smoking Act. 

PROCEEDING U/S 174 Cr.PC

           Today on 15.11.2018, an unknown male deadbody of Nepali Persons, age about 37 years, found at Neri Nalah (Gadhel) due to fell down from Chebri dhank in the jurisdiction of PS Nankhari. Dead body kept in mortuary at CH Nankhari for identification. Further proceeding is going on.

1.     Accused Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Damyana, PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 67/18 Dt. 12.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in police custody upto 19.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.  

2.     Accused Jagmohan S/o Lt. Sh. Pyare Lal R/o Village Bhiwra, PO Jahu, Tehsil Nankhari, District Shimla, age 32 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 121/18 Dt. 15.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain, is remanded in police custody upto 19.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.  

   

Crime Report on Nov. 15, 2018

1.     A ND&PS ACT: Case FIR No. 121/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 15.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act on the rukka of HC Dev Raj, I/O PP Narkanda (Kumarsain) alleging therein that today on 15.11.2018 at about 11-00 AM, during patrolling/traffic duty, one person namely Jagmohan S/o Lt. Sh. Pyare Lal R/o Village Bhiwra, PO Jahu, Tehsil Nankhari, District Shimla, age 32 years intercepted by them below Circuit House Narkanda, road leading towards Narkanda to Thanadhar and during the search 31.17 Gram Chitta (Heroin) recovered from this possession. The case is being investigated by HC Dev Raj, I/O PP Narkanda.  

2.     A GAMBLING ACT: Case FIR No. 75/18 has been registered at PS Nerwa today on 15.11.2018 U/S 3 The Public Gambling Act on the rukka of SI Kulwant Singh, SHO PS Nerwa Shimla alleging therein that today at about 03-50 PM, during patrolling alongwith staff, 5 persons apprehended by them during playing gambling with cards at public place Shikyar and seized Rs. 33,800/- from the spot.

3.        AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 59/18 has been registered at PS Sunni on 14.11.2018 U/S 279 337 IPC & 184 MV Act on the rukka of HC Ram Krishan, I/O PS Sunni, Shimla alleging therein that on 14.11.2018, one Car No. HP11-7872 met with an accident and rolled down from the road near Baldena (Durgapur) due to rash & negligent driving of Laiq Ram. In this accident, two persons namely Liaq Ram & Vikram Verma sustained injuries.  The case is being investigated by HC Ram Krishan, I/O PS Sunni.

4.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 333/18 has been registered at PS West Shimla on 15.11.2018 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Chater Singh S/O Sh. Ran Singh R/O Village Talon, Tehsil Nahan A/P  posted as  Driver in HRTC Deptt.  unit-2, Shimla stated therein that today on 15.11.2018 he was coming to Shimla from Kathiana by driving Bus No-HP03B6082. At about 08.15 AM when he reached near Hira Nagar, at the same time a truck No. HP11A-2345 driven by Sneh Prakash,  was came rashly with negligent driving. As truck driver stopped his Truck, above truck turned and hit with his bus. Due to hitting, above bus rolled down from the road, sustained injuries to him alongwith 6/7 passengers. The case is being investigated by HC Suresh Kumar I/O PP Jutough.

5.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 109/18 has been registred at PS New Shimla U/S 279,337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vijay Parmar S/O Late Sh. Babu Ram Chauhan   R/O Set No-1, Near Civil Supply Depot BCS New Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 14/15-11-2018 an unknown vehicle hit his vehicle No. HP63A-1971 & other vehicle Nos. HP63-9023, HP40C-5413, HP06A-0678,  HP03B-0424 parked on the road side near BCS Phase-02 Bifurcation. The Case is being investigated by ASI Rajvinder singh IO PS New Shimla.

6.     AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 120/18 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 15.11.2018 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Jitu Sharma S/o Sh. Satvijay Sharma R/o Village & PO Shankarganj District Rai Bareli, UP A/P C/o Vishal Gupta, Bus Stop Narkanda Tehsil Kumarsain Shimla stated therein that on 15.11.2018, he alongwith his friends Durgesh Gupta So Lt. Sh. Badadin Gupta R/o Narkanda & Sonu was coming back to home from Lavi Fair Rampur in car No. HP63-5121. At about 03-00 AM, when they reached near Arpu (Sainj), above vehicle met with accident and rolled down into deep trench due to rash & negligent driving of Durgesh Gupta. In this accident, two persons namely Durgesh & Sonu died on the spot and he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Susheel, I/O PS Kumarsain.

7.    During last 24 hours 307 vehicles were challaned under Motor Vehicle Act, Compounded= 123, fine realized Rs. 49,400/- and 10 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 1000/-. 

FOLLOW-UP

1.     Accused Pushpender Thakur S/o Sh. Devinder R/o 74, The Mall Shimla, arrested in case FIR No. 247/18 U/S 376 IPC at PS Sadar Shimla, today remanded in judicial custody upto 22.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.

2.     Accused Ramesh Kumar S/o Sh. Laiq Ram R/o Village Damyana, PO Chhaila, Tehsil Theog, District Shimla, age 24 years, arrested in case FIR No. 67/18 Dt. 12.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Kotkhai, is remanded in police custody upto 19.11.2018, by the Ld. Court.  19.11.2018

3.     Accused Jagmohan S/o Lt. Sh. Pyare Lal R/o Village Bhiwra, PO Jahu, Tehsil Nankhari, District Shimla, age 32 years, arrested today in case FIR No. 121/18 Dt. 15.11.2018 U/S 21 ND&PS Act at PS Kumarsain. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
