Crime Report on November 21, 2017


1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 214/17 has been registered at PS Theog on 20.11.2017 U/S 20.11.2017 on the statement of Sh. Avinash Chauhan S/o Sh. Roshan Lal Chauhan R/o Village Gangtoli, Ward No. 6, Rohru, Shimla alleging therein that he was coming to Shimla from Rohru in his vehicle No. HP10A-0050. At about 02-15 PM, when he reached near Farmer Nest Hotel at Bhue, at the same time a Maruti Car No. CH03A-3551 came rashly by negligently overtaking the another vehicles from Chhaila side and hit with his vehicle. In this accident, two persons who were travelling in above car, sustained injuries.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 132/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 20.11.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Vinod Shandil S/o Lt. Sh. Keshav Ram Shandil R/o Village Shyar PO Beolia, Shimla stated therein that one boy namely Kamesh, age 12 years was coming from Vikas Nagar in his bicycle. At the same time a Water Tanker No. HP07C-1845 driven by Leela Dutt S/o Sh. Sehaj Ram Verma R/o Kanwal Kothi, Tehsil Arki, Solan, came rashly with negligent driving and hit bicycle rider from backside near CID office Panthaghati.  The case is being investigated by ASI Daleep, I/O PP Kasumpti.

3.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No 129/17 has been registered at PS New Shimla today on 21.11.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Nand Lal S/o Sh. Jai Ram R/o Village Rothi, PO Shwat, Tehsil Anni, Distt. Kullu A/P Bushehari Bhawan, Village Jhanjheeri, Shimla alleging therein that today on 21.11.2017 at about 01-00 AM, he alongwith Anuj Kumar was going towards Jhanjheeri in Motorcycle No. HP52A-2076. As they reached near Mist Chamber, above Motorcycle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving of Anuj Kumar and rolled down on the road, caused sustained injuries to them. The case is being investigated by HC Dimple, I/O PS New Shimla.  

4.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 131/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai today on 21.11.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ret Ram S/o Sh. Charan Dass R/o Village Teludhar, PO Khanewal Bangla, Tehsil Karsog, Mandi alleging therein that on 20.11.2017, he alongwith Surender Chauhan was going towards Dhangvi from Gumma in vehicle No. HP_62C-4444. At about 07-00 PM, when he reached near Kokunalah above vehicle met with an accident & rolled down from the road, due to rash & negligent driving of Sh. Surender Chauhan, caused sustained injuries to them.   

5.    A CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 232/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 20.11.2017 U/S 406 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Deva Sen Negi A/P Regional Manager in HRTC Local Unit Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that Chiranjee Lal S/o Sh. Tikkam Dass R/o Village Koti, PO Baldeyan, Shimla, who was performing the duty of  Bus Conductor as HRTC Skill Development Trainee, intentionally absent from his duty. He has not deposited the cash w.e.f. 01.11.2017 to 05.11.2017 and also took the ETM machine with him. The case is being investigated by HC Narender, I/O PS Shimla West.

6.    A THEFT: Case FIR No. 233/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 20.11.2017 U/S 379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vikram Sandhu S/o Lt. Sh. Darshan Singh Sandhu R/o Newdhar House near Swaran Public School Tutikandi, Shimla alleging therein that on the intervening night of 18/19.11.2017, some unknown person has stolen away his Motorcycle No. HP07-7164, parked near his house at Tutikandi. The case is being investigated by ASI Dev Raj, I/O PS Shimla West.

7.    A CHEATING: Case FIR No. 131/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 20.11.2017 U/S 420 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Rajinder Thakur C/o Sh. Diwan Thakur, HP Marketing Board Office, Khalini, Shimla stated therein that one Mr. Vijay Gupta has applied for the accreditation of Weekly News Paper Him Ujala in the year of 2003. After accreditation in the Public Relation Department, Vijay Gupta’s received cash amounting to Rs. 3,39,485/- from above Department from the year 2008 to 2011 on the basis of forged documents i.e. Affidavit & Accreditation form. The case is being investigated by ASI Prem, I/O PS Shimla East.

8.    A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN & CRIMINAL INTIMIDATION: Case FIR No. 234/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West today on  21.11.2017 U/S 341, 323, 504, 506  IPC on the complaint of Sh. Raja Ahmad S/o Sh. Rahish Ahmad R/o Village Mahaula Pathan Tola, Tehsil Sahaswan, Distt. Bandau, UP alleging therein that he is working as Painter for the last 20 years in Shimla city. After completion the painting work of Nursing College of Jeet Singh Rana, on 20.11.2017, when he was going to Nursing College to get his wages, on the way Jeet Singh Rana obstructed his way and beaten him brutally and threatened with dire consequences.  The case is being investigated by ASI Dev Raj, I/O PS Shimla West.

9.    A WRONGFUL RESTRAIN: Case FIR No. 137/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.11.2017 U/S 341,504,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Harvinder Singh Kanwar A/P TGT in GSSS Kotighat stated therein that during Annual Function of School, at about  02.34 PM, Jagat ram Chauhan alongwith his wife obstructed his way, abused him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Rajesh Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain.      

10.  A TRESPASS: Case FIR No. 29/17 has been registered at PS Nankhari today on 21.11.2017 U/S 451 504 506 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Usha Devi W/o Sh. Faqurjeet R/o Village Banoga, PO Lallan, Tehsil Nankhari, Shimla stated therein that on 20.11.2017 at about 07-00 PM, one person namely Jeet Ram criminally trespass in her premises, abused her and threatened with dire consequences.  

11.  A THEFT: Case FIR No. 77/17 has been registered at PS Jubbal today on 21.11.2017 U/S 457,380,379 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Kalam Singh R/O Village & PO Dhar Tehsil Jubbal Distt. Shimla alleging there in the some unknown persons has broken the door lock of his kitchen and stolen away Pressure cooker, key and documents of his vehicle and another vehicle Alto Car No. HP10-9593. The case is investigated by  SI SHO PS Jubbal.

12.  During last 24 hours 246 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 133,  fine realized  Rs. 43,600/- and 24 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,400/-.
