Crime Report November5, 2017.

1.           Case FIR No. 125/17 dated 04.11.17 U/S 381 IPC has been registered in PS East, Shimla on the complaint of Dr. Nitya Rai C/O Neel Kunj Above Kali Mandir, Vikas Nagar, Shimla-171009 alleging therein that she had kept her ornaments in the almirah and she noticed that her ornaments i.e. Diamond rings, Diamond ear rings, Tops, Pearl with gold rings, Navratna gold earing were found missing from almirah. She suspects that her maid has stolen away her ornaments. The value of stolen ornaments is about Rs. 5,00,000/-. The case is being investigated by SI Viri Singh, I/O PS East, Shimla.

2.           Case FIR No. 132/17 dated 04.11.2017 U/S U/S 39(1) A HP Excise Act, has been registered in PS Kumarsain on the Rukka of SI/SHO Sunny Guleria , PS Kumarsain stating that on 04.11.2017 he along with staff was on patrolling duty. During patrolling, raid was conducted in  the daily need shop of Jagat ram S/o Sh. Prem singh R/o Village Sainj, PO Kirti, Tehsil Kumarsain and recovered 12 Bottles of country liquor Una No.-1  from his possession. The Case is being investigated by SI/SHO Sunny Guleria P.S Kumarsain, District Shimla.

3.           Case FIR No. 76/17 dated 04.11.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Jubbal on the statement of Sh. Suresh Kumar S/O Lt. Sh. Goverdhan Singh R/o VPO Turan, Tehsil Jubbal alleging therein that  on 04.11.2017 at about 07.00 AM,   a vehicle No. HP 51(T) 7669 (Bolero)   fall down  near CHC Saraswati Nagar in which driver Sohan Lal R/o Saraswati- Nagar, Tehsil Jubbal and  Rohit Mokta sustained injuries. This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of Driver Sohan Lal. The case is investigated by HC.  Gopal Singh, I/O PP Saraswati Naga, District Shimla.

4.           Case FIR No. 205/17 dated 04.11.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Theog on the statement of Sh. Khatri Ram S/o Sh. Gain Singh R/o VPO Gawali, Tehsil Shilai, District Sirmour, HP, presently residing Kanta Building, village Koti Purani, PO Mashobra, Tehsil & District Shimla alleging therein that on 04.11.2017 he along with his son Shatish Kumar was going to Koti from Sanola on foot. At around 12.15 PM, a HRTC bus No. HP63-6053 which was on its route from Shimla to Garhkahan hit his son Shatish at Sanola bridge due to which he sustained injuries on leg and chest. This accident occurred due to the negligent driving of driver Ajay. The case is being investigated by ASI Jeet Ram, I/O, PS Theog, District Shimla.

5.           Case FIR No. 202/17 dated 04.11.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Sadar, Shimla on the statement of Smt. Usha Bansal W/o Sh. Naresh Bansal R/o Sood Niwas, Amar Kunj, 2^nd Floor, Kombli Bank Shimla alleging therein that on 04.11.2017 she came to Bazar. At about 05.30 PM, she was going to her home on foot. When she reached near Victory Tunnel, and was crossing the road, an army vehicle hit her and she fall down on the road due to she sustained injuries on her head, back, chest & arms. She was shifted to IGMC by the driver of army vehicle along with other person. This accident occurred due to the negligent driving of army driver. The investigated is in progress.

6.           Case FIR No. 203/17 dated 04.11.2017 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS Sadar, Shimla on the statement of Sh. Kamal Veer S/o Lt. Sh. Harbans Singh R/o  Set No. 45 Marina Anexe The Mall Shimla alleging therein that on 04.11.2017 at 09.15 AM, he along with his son was going to Local Bus Stand Shimla to celebrating Guru Nanak Jayanti when he reached near Subzi Mandi Ground, a Pick-up him from the back side and he pressed with other vehicle due to which he sustained injuries. This accident occurred due to the negligent driving of Pick-up driver, who run away from the spot. The investigated is in progress.

  

During the last 24 Hours 237 vehicles have been challaned and compounded 106 of fine Rs. 34,700/- and 15  persons have been challaned under Smoking Act and fine Rs. 1500/-.
