Crime Report of November 13, 2017

1.    An Escape from confinement or custody negligently suffered by public servant case FIR No. 209/17 has been registered at PS Sadar today on 13-11-2017 on the complaint of Sh. Jagjeet Chaudhary Deputy Supdt. Model Centeral Jail Kanda alleging therein that life convict Darshan Kumar @ Banti S/o Tarsem Lal R/o Labour Hostel, Krishna Nagar, Shimla who was engaged with mobile canteen at Summerhill & The Mall Shimla escaped from the legal custody of HHC Naval Kishor on 12-11-2017. The case is being investigated by ASI Rajesh I.O PS Sadar.

2.    An Accident case FIR No. 130/17 has been registered at PS Kotkhai on 12.11.2017 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Inder Dev R/o  VPO Badhehar Tehsil Bhoranj Distt. Hamirpur alleging therein that on 12.11.2017 at about 01.00 PM, he was going to Badavin in his Pick-Up No. HP74-5709. On the way, his Pick-up collided with HRTC Bus No. HP10A-7190 of Rohru Depot. At the same time, a Truck No. HP63B-1616 came rashly and negligently and hit his pickup from backside and it rolled  down from the road and damaged badly. The case is being investigated by HC Tulsi Ram, I/O PS Kotkhai.

3.    An Accident case FIR No.  209/17 has been registered at PS Theog today on  13-11-17 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Arun Sharma S/o Sh. Naresh Sharma R/o VPO Sahrontha Tehsil Rohru Distt. Shimla stated therein that today he was going to Shimla in the vehicle (HP64A-1415) of Sh. Dharmendra Sharma of his village. When they reached at Tharmati (Theog) one Tempo No. HP72A-9344 came rashly and negligently towards Shimla and hit their vehicle. In this accident complainant, Dharmender, Nisha & Anup Sustained injuries. This accident occurred due to rash and negligent driving of tempo driver Anil Kumar. The case is being investigated by HC Satish Kumar I.O PS Theog.

4.    During last 24 hours 88 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 29,  fine realized  Rs. 13,900/-, 18 persons challaned under Smoking Act and fine collected Rs. 1,800/- and 01 Challan under Mining Act and fined realized Rs. 7,500/-
