Crime Report on November 15, 2017

1.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 136/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain today on 15.11.2017 U/S 279,337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Palas Ram R/o Vill Malendi PO Pharal Tehsil Kumarsain Distt Shimla alleging therein that on 14.11.2017 at about 10-00 PM, one vehicle No HP30-2579 (Pick-Up) met with an accident and rolled down 150 feet from Malendi-Pharal Road due to rash & negligent driving of Harish Kumar S/o Lt. Sh. Sunder Lal R/o Village Sujji PO Jabali Tehsil Kasauli Distt Solan, caused sustained injuries to him. The case is being investigated by ASI Vijay Kumar I/O PS Kumarsain.

2.    AN ACCIDENT: Case FIR No. 128/17 has been registered at PS Shimla East on 14.11.2017 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Lotan Rishi S/o Sh. Ram Avtar Rishi R/o Village & PO Parora, Distt. Purniya, Bihar, age 32 years alleging therein that he is working as labourer in P.K. Company and the work of tiring is progress on NH-22 at Mehli. On 14.11.2017 at about 03-25 PM, when he was stood beside the road near Mehli, at the same time one Alto-800 Car No. HP03C-1286 driven by Ramesh Verma S/o Lt. Sh. Ram Krishan Verma R/o Village Mehli, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla, came rashly with negligent driving and hit him. In this accident, he sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Pramod, I/O PS Shimla East.  

3.    A TRESPASS: Case FIR No 135/17 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 14.11.2017 U/S 451,504,506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Chattar Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Bhagat Singh Thakur R/o Village Bharawat PO Baragaon Tehsil Kumarsain stated therein that on 14.11.2017 at about 08-25 PM, two persons namely Sunil Kumar & Chaman Lal criminally trespassed in his courtyard, abused him and threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by ASI Vijay Kumar, I/O PS Kumarsain.

4.    A BURGLARY: Case FIR No. 166/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 14.11.2017 U/S 457, 380 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Vijay Singh A/P Junior Engineer, 66/22 KVS/STN Gumma alleging therein that on the intervening night of 13/14.11.2017, some unknown person has broken the door locks of Sub-Station Gumma and stolen away the Copper from 6.3 MVA & 10 MVA Limbs. The case is  being investigated by HC Ramesh Chand, I/O PP Mashobra.

5.    ASSAULT OR CRIMINAL FORCE IN ATTEMPT TO COMMIT THEFT: Case FIR No. 168/17 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 14.11.2017 U/S 356 IPC  on the complaint of Smt. Indra Devi W/o Sh. Pratap Singh R/o Mohan Sharma Niwas, Gahan, Lower Cemetery Shimla alleging therein that on 13.11.2017 at about 03-00 PM, when she was coming to home from her sister’s house, on the way a stranger person snatched Mangalsutra from her neck and run away towards Bhattakuffar.

6.    CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST: Case FIR No. 230/17 has been registered at PS Shimla West on 14.11.2017 U/S 406 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Ajender Chaudhary, Sub-Divisional Manager, HRTC Taradevi Depot-1 alleging therein that Rahul S/o Sh. Rajinder Singh R/o Village Banol PO Nagan Tehsil Kotkhai, Shimla, who was performing the duty of  Bus Conductor as HRTC Skill Development Trainee, intentionally absent from his duty w.e.f. 11.11.2017. He has not deposited the cash w.e.f. 25.09.2017 and also took the ETM machine with him. The case is being investigated by ASI Surjeet Singh, I/O PS Shimla West.

7.  During last 24 hours 186 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded= 83,  fine realized  Rs. 26,700/- and 21 persons challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 2,400/-.
