Crime Report May 30, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 125/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 29.05.2015 U/S 17,20-61-85 ND&PS Act has been registered on the rukka of SI Rajneesh Thakur, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla stated therein that on 29.05.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling  towards Sanjuali. When they reached near Sanjauli By-Pass, one vehicle No. HP-09C-2038 (Alto 800) alongwith driver namely Dinesh Kumar S/o Sh. Rakesh Kumar R/o House No. NK-417, Patel Chowk Jalandhar, Punjab, age 29 years A/p Director Hotel Galu Hills, near Fagu, Tehsil Theog, Shimla intercepted by them. During search, 2.130 gram Heroin & 1.53 gram Charas  & cash Rs. 31,000/- recovered from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Rajneesh Thakur, I/C PP Lakkar Bazar Shimla.

2. A Trespass case FIR No. 40/15   has been registered at PS East Shimla on 29.05.2015 U/S 447,427, 34 IPC on the complaint of Smt. Shanti Devi, R/o SSB Command near Apple Garden Kasumpti Shimla alleging therein that  Surinder  Mankotia Chairman cut the tree of pear in his land at Kasumpti Moja Jajhot and also trespassed in her land to complete the danga for way to his Plot. The case is being investigated by PSI Ashish  Pathania I/C PP Kasumpti.

3. A Rioting case FIR No. 71/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 29-05-15 U/s 341,323,506,147,148,149 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Laiq Ram alleging therein that on 28-05-15 he alongwith his brother Narinder was going to home. Sh. Naryan Jhagta, Subhash Jhagta, Lal Chand, Satish, Sanjeev and other 4/5 persons beaten them and also threatened with dire consequences. The case is being investigated by HC Ramesh I.O PP Phagu PS Theog.   

4. An Accident case FIR No 88/15 has been registered at PS Rampur Dt. 30.05.2015 U/S  279 IPC on the statement of Sh. Shanshak Shelli S/O Sh Mohinder Shelli R/O Kalyanpur Rampur Distt Shimla HP stated that on 29.05.2015 at about 9.30 PM, he was present outside his shop, at the same time one Scorpio No HP52A-0529 came from Rampur side and collide with another vehicle which was parked nearby Bittam Garage. The case is being investigated by HC Hans Raj, I/O PP City Rampur.

5. An Accident case FIR No. 126/15 has been registered at PS West on today     30-05-15 u/s 279,304A IPC on the rukka of SI Virochan Negi I/O PS West stated therein that today on 30-05-15 at about 02-48 AM one car No. HP 09C-1565 met with an accident at Gol Pahari near Annandale due to rash and negligent driving of driver Rajat Diwan   S/o Sh. Jagdish Diwan Vill Dawandli PO Tharola Distt. Shimla. In this accident Rajat Diwan and Amit Chauhan S/o Sh. Jai Parkash Chauhan Vill Madog PO Narain Bali Tehsil Rampur died on the spot. The case is being investigated by SI Virochan Negi I.O PS West.

6. During the last 24 hours total 260 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 08 Persons challan under Smoking Act. Total Challan compounded = 108 and fine realized Rs 38,300/-.
