Crime Report May 22, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 44/15 has been registered at PS Kumarsain on 21.05.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act on the Rukka of ASI Hem Chand, I/C PP Sainj stated therein that on 21.05.2015, he alongwith staff on Traffic Checking & Nakkabandi on NH-5 near Churupani  Sainj. At about 04-00 PM, one  person namely Kamal Mohan S/o Sh Jeet Paul R/o Village & PO Malpur House No -88 Ward No-6 Tehsil and P.S Malpur Distt Hoshirpur Punjab, intercepted by them. During search he recovered 4 Kg charas from his possession. Above accused has been arrested by the police and the case is being investigated by ASI Hem Chand, I/O PP Sainj.

2. An Accident case FIR No. 194/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 21.05.2015 U/S 279,337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the statement of Sh. Kamal Kishore S/o Sh. Med Ram R/o Village Chanaiyan, PO Janedghat, Sub-Tehsil Junga, Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 21.05.2015, he was going to home from Chail in his vehicle No. HP 03D-8008. At about 09-30 AM, when he reached near United 21 Resort, he saw that a scooter No. HP-52A-8719 of Sh. Ramesh Kumar hit by some unknown person with his vehicle and run away from the spot. In this accident Sh. Ramesh Kumar R/o Village Teer sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by ASI Baldev Singh, I/C PP Junga.

3. A Burglary case FIR No 84/15 has been registered at PS Rampur today i.e. 22.05.2015 U/S 457,380 IPC on the application of Sh. Tek Chand S/O Sh. Tula Ram R/o Village Daroti, PO Danawali, Tehsil Rampur, Distt Shimla HP stated therein that on 18.05.2015 he went to Rampur in connection with treatment of his Mother, who was admitted in Kheneri Hospital. He was informed telepathically that locks of his home has been broken. On this information he reached on the spot and found that some unknown person has broken the door locks of his house and stolen away gold ornaments i.e. Mangalsutra, finger rings, silver bangles & cash of Rs. 29000/-. The case is being investigated by HC Devinder Nath I/O PP Nankhari.

4. During the last 24 hours total 296 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 05 Persons challaned under Smoking Act & 05 challaned under Mining Act. Total Challan compounded = 93 and fine realized Rs 36,500/-.

1. Accused  Sanjeev Kumar S/o Sh. Balak Ram R/o Vill. Bhanalag PO Oddi, PS & Tehsil Kumarsain Distt. Shimla Age- 30 years & Ajay Kumar S/o Sh. Bali Ram R/o Vill. Bhanalag PO Oddi PS & Tehsil Kumarsain Distt. Shimla Age- 18 years, presently Driver & conductor in Bus No. Bus NO. CH-04H-6056, have been arrested in case FIR No. 117/15 Dt. 20-5-2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act  PS West, today bailed by the trial court.

2. Accused Kamal Mohan S/o Sh. Jeet Paul R/o Village & PO Malpur House No -88 Ward No-6 Tehsil and PS Malpur Distt Hoshirpur Punjab arrested in case FIR No. 44/15 Dt. 21.05.2015 U/S 20-61-85 ND&PS Act PS Kumarsain, is on police remand upto 25.05.2015.
