Crime Report May 08, 2015

1. A ND&PS Act case FIR No. 06/15 has been registered at Woman Police Station, BCS Shimla on 07.05.2015 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act on the rukka of SI Reena, I/O Woman Police Station BCS Shimla stated therein that on 07.05.2015, she alongwith staff was on traffic checking duty at NH-22 near Kanlog, Shimla. At about 09-15 PM, one vehicle No. HP-01S-1039 alongwith driver namely Kamlesh Kumar Thakur S/o Sh. Roop Lal Thakur R/o Village Chhajoli, PO Danghar, Tehsil Ghumarwin, Distt. Bilaspur, HP, came from ISBT, Shimla, intercepted by them. During search of vehicle, she recovered 599 bottles of Relaxcoff 100ml. each from his possession. The case is being investigated by SI Reena, I/O Woman Police Station BCS Shimla.
2. An Accident case FIR No. 57/15 has been registered at PS Theog today on 08-05-15 U/S 279,337, IPC on the statement of Happy Chandel S/o Sh. Kanwar Singh Chandel Vill Bhledi, PO Mahori Tehsil Theog stated therein that when he alongwith Arun, Anil and Sushil Kumar was going to Nankhari in vehicle No. HP-09C-2075 (Alto car). At about 07-30 AM, when they reached near Patinal, driver Sushil Kumar lost the control and above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driving and rolled down from the road and they sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Inder Singh I.O PS Theog
3. A Theft case FIR No. 34/15 has been registered at PS Rohru today on 08-05-15 U/S 379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Jai Kishan S/o Late Sh. Devi Ram R/o Vill Banchuna PO Karasa Tehsil Rohru stated therein that on 06-05-15 he parked his vehicle Pick Up No. HP 32-6188 near Poly technique College Rohru. On      08-05-2015 when he alongwith his brother Kewal Krishan was present at Baral Jharag, at the same time Brij Lal S/o Sh. Jaan Pur Vill Thana PO Mandal, Tehsil Jubbal came there with his above vehicle. Brij lal theft his vehicle from Poly technique college Rohru. The case is being investigated by ASI Gopal I.O PS Rohru.
4. During the last 24 hours total 156 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act. Total Challan compounded =90 and fine realized Rs 31,700/-

Follow-Up

1. Accused Satguru S/O Sh. Devi Singh R/o Chhota Pind, Distt. Sangroor, Punjab &  Sahil S/o Sh. Subhash Chand R/o Ramthali, Distt. Kenthol, Haryana have been arrested in case FIR No. 144/14 U/S 457,380 IPC at PS Dhalli, today bailed by the trial court.
2. Accused Kamlesh Kumar Thakur S/o Sh. Roop Lal Thakur R/o Village Chhajoli, PO Danghar, Tehsil Ghumarwin, Distt. Bilaspur, HP has been arrested in case FIR No. 06/15 Dt. 07.05.2015 U/S 21,22-61-85 ND&PS Act at Woman Police Station BCS Shimla, is on police remand upto 12.05.2015.
3. Accused Brij Lal S/o Sh. Jaan Pur Vill Thana PO Mandal, Tehsil Jubbal, District Shimla has been arrested in case FIR No. 34/15 Dt. 08.05.15 U/S 379 IPC at PS Rohru. He will be produced before Ld. Court tomorrow.
