- An Excise Act case FIR No. 60/15 has been registered at PS Jhakri today i.e. 26.05.2015 U/S 39 HP Excise Act on the rukka of ASI Sher Singh, I/O PS Jhkari stated therein that on 26.05.2015, he alongwith staff was on patrolling/ traffic checking duty on NH-5. At about 01-15 PM, when they reached near Electricity Control Room Jhakri, one person namely Tilak Raj S/o Sh. Jia Lal R/o Shah, PO Dofda, Tehsil Rampur, Shimla intercepted by them. During search, he recovered 24 bottles of country liquor marka Himachal Orange from his possession. The case is being investigated by ASI Sher Singh, I/O PS Jhakri.
- An Accident case FIR No. 124/15 has been registered at PS West today i.e. 26.05.2015 U/S 279 IPC on the statement of Smt. Shreshtha Kumari Rana W/o Sh. Rajender Singh Rana R/o Sanchaika Bhawan, 3rd Floor, near Railway Station Totu, Shimla stated therein that on 25.05.2015 at about 10-15 PM, one vehicle No. HP-28-5180 (Bolero Camper) driven by Sh. Nand Kishore, came rashly and hit her vehicle No. HP-63-1922 (Swift) and another vehicle No. DL-4CQ-0468 & Maruti Car No. HP-62-0984 and damaged the above vehicles. The case is being investigated by HC Shyam Lal, I/O PP Jutogh.
- During the last 24 hours total 407 vehicles Challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act and 03 Challan under Smoking Act. Total Challan compounded = 222 and fine realized Rs 60,700/-.

Accused Madhu Bala D/o Sh. Bohra Ram R/o Village & PO Mundkhar, Tehsil & PS Dangar, PO Bharari, Tehsil & PS Bhoranj, Distt. Hamirpur A/P Village Harit langer, PO Dangar, PO Bharari, Tehsil Ghumarwin, Distt. Bilaspur, age 23 years, arrested in case FIR No. 28/14 Dt. 03.05.14 U/S 457,380,34 IPC at PS Sunni sent to Judicial custody by trial court.
