Crime Report March 02, 2015

1. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 43/15 has been registered at PS Theog on 01.04.2015 U/S 341 323 IPC on the complaint of Kanku Devi D/o Sh. Lomcha Devi R/o Village Kathog, Tehsil Theog, Shimla stated therein that on 01.04.2015, she was going to home. On the way one person namely Jagdish R/o Village Kathanala, PO Kathog, Shimla obstructed her way & beaten her. The case is being investigated by HC Yogesh, I/O PS Theog.

2. A Wrongful Restraint case FIR No. 62/15 has been registered at PS Sadar on 01.04.2015 U/S 341 323 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Likhit Kumar S/o Sh. Ram Kumar R/o Village Dhali, PO Baldeyan, Tehsil & Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 01.04.2015, after college he alongwith staff was going to home. At about 07-40 PM, when they reached on the main gate of College, at the same time Shiven & Surender obstructed his way and beaten him. The case is being investigated by HC Bala Ram, I/O PS Sadar.

3. An Accident case FIR No. 137/15 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 01.04.2015 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ritesh S/o Sh. Mohinder Singh Chauhan R/o New Dev Niwas, Engine Ghar, Sanjauli Shimla stated therein that on 01.04.2015, he alongwith Lekh Ram & Pradeep Sabaik were going towards Dhalli in vehicle No. HP-62B-0141. At about 06-30 PM,  when they reached near ABC Bar at Chalonthi, above vehicle met with an accident due to rash & negligent driven of Pradeep Sabaik and rolled down 30 meters from the road. In this accident, above persons sustained injuries. The case is being investigated by HC Roshan lal, I/O PP Sanjauli.

4. During the last 24 hours total 218 vehicles challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act & 01 Persons challaned under Smoking Act.  Total Challaned compounded = 91 and fine realized Rs 31,500/-

1. On 02.04.2015, Decease Atish Kumar @ Jiny S/O Sh. Ramesh Kumar R/O Below Singh Sabha Cow Shed No. 3 Bus Stand Shimla A/P Sweaper Yarrows Choura Maidan Shimla HP Age 25/26 years has died due to fell down from the hill near Advance Study. After postmortem his deadbody handed over to his family members.

1. Accused Gopal Bhadur S/O Lt. Sh. Ravi Dharti R/O Vill. Pokhri P.O. & PS Machhi G.P. Mange Nepal arrested in case FIR No. 73/15 Dt. 01.04.2015 U/S 456 IPC at PS West, is on police remand upto 04.04.2015.

2. Accused Arshad Khan S/o Sh. Nanhe Khan R/o Kutub Masjid Near PS Sadar, Shimla, age 39 years arrested in case FIR No. 14/15 Dt. 01.03.2015 U/S 392, 34 IPC at PS East, is on police remand upto 06.04.2015.
