A Burglary case FIR No. 72/14 is registered at PS East on 09.06.2014 U/S 454 380 IPC on the statement of Dharm Pal Sharma S/O Lt. Sh. Hiru Ram Sharma R/O Paal Niwas Aanji Vikas Nager Shimla-9 alleging therein that some unknown person has broken the window grill of his house and stolen away one pair Golden tops, two silver coin etc. and cash Rs. 20,000/-. Total value of the stolen property is approximately Rs. 60,000/-. The case is being investigated by HC Om Krishan No. 51, I/O PAR Vikas Nagar Shimla.

An Excise Act case FIR No. 73/14 is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 09.06.2014 U/S 39 HP Excise Act-2011 on the application of M.N. Sareen alleging therein that he is residing with his family at Subzi Mandi Shimla. One wine shop (Ahatta) is opened by the owner of wine shop near his house. He doubts that owner of wine shop/ Ahatta is running without license. The case is being investigated by ASI Nag Dev, I/O PS Sadar Shimla.

A Burglary case FIR No. 82/14 is registered at PS Dhalli on 09.06.2014 U/S 454 380 IPC on the statement of Smt. Nirmal Thakur W/o Sh. Balwant Singh Thakur R/o Thakur Estate, Upper Chalaunthi, Sanjauli Shimla alleging therein that on 09.06.2014 at 12:20 PM, she has gone to school for taking her daughter. At about 02:15 PM when she returned back to home, she found that some unknown person has broken the door lock of her house and stolen away her golden ornaments i.e. one Mangal Sutra, Bracelet, finger rings, one gold set etc., five Mobile Phones and cash Rs. 2,00,000/- . The Case is being investigated by Inspt. Param Dev, SHO PS Dhalli.

During last 24 hours 244 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act, 11 persons challaned under Smoking Act and 01 challan under Mining Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs.29,900/-
