Crime Report 23 June, 2014

1. An Accident case FIR No. 89/14 is registered at PS Theog today i.e. on 23.06.2014 U/S 279 504 IPC on the statement of Smt. Priyanka Chauhan W/o Sh. Sachin Chaudhary R/o 1/219/2, Sadar Bazaar Delhi Cant alleging therein that she was travelling from Chhitkul to Hotel Rahat Shimla. When she reached near Sharog, one vehicle No. Hp-01-K-3671 (Maruti Car) came towards Shimla with rash driving and hit their vehicle. The driver of above vehicle also misbehaved with her.

    

    

2. Half Marathon Run is being organized by the HP Police Department "To mark the (International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking" on 29-06-2014 at 08:00 AM, in Shimla City. There will be three events i.e. Half Marathon-21.5 KM, Mini Marathon-10 KM & Dream Run- 3 KM in the event. The Theme of the event is "Make Health you, New High in Life not Drugs" in this year. The entry to participate in the marathon is being made at PAR The Mall Shimla   and closed on 28.06.2014 by 04:00 PM.  In this context rewards for the participants are as under:-

   21.5 Kms. Half Marathon                                  10 Kms Mini Marathon

   1^st Runner  up-           15000/-                          1^st Runner up-         7500/-

   2^nd Runner up-           11000/-                          2^nd Runner up-        5100/-

   4^th Position-                  3100/-                          4^th Position-             1500/-

   5^th Position-                  2100/-                          5^th Position-              1100/-

   6^th  to 10^th position-      1100/-                          6^th to 10^th Position-              750/-

    

   In 3Kms Dream Run 20 prizes will be given (10 men & 10 women) of Rs. 1000/- each.

    

    

3. During last 24 hours 232 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act. 07 persons challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 36,400/-.
