A Rioting case FIR No. 78/14 is registered at PS Theog i.e. on 09.06.14 U/S 147 148 149 353 332 323 427 506 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Brij Lal S/o Sh. Sohan Lal R/o Village- Sandhu, Tehsil- Theog, Distt. Shimla alleging therein that he informed at Police Station Theog that one person is coming with illegal liquor. On this information, ASI Sunil Kumar a/w staff reached on the spot at Bhui. At about 12:30 PM one person namely Balwant Singh @ Danu alongwith 15/18 persons came there with sticks and beaten him alongwith his friends Sandeep & Manohar. When the police stopped them, they have obstruct them during duty, beaten them and also broken the glasses of vehicle No. HP-09B-0906. Case is being investigated by Sh. Rattan Singh, SDPO, Theog.

An Accident case FIR No 65/14 is registered at PS Rampur today i.e. on 09-06-14 U/S 279 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Ramesh Bhardwaj S/o Sh. Uday Parkash R/o Village & PO- Dansa, Tehsil- Rampur, Distt- Shimla alleging therein that on 08-06-2014, at about 11:00 PM one Driver of Alto car No. HP-06B-3903 has hit Motorcycle No HP-06A-1498 near PWD Rest House Taklech due to rash and negligent driving and run away from the spot. Motor cycle rider Anil Kumar and Vijay Kumar has got sustained injuries in this accident. Case is being investigated by ASI Bhagat Ram I/C PP Taklech

During last 24 hours 155 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act. 20 persons challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs.33,500/-
