Crime Report 24 June,2014

1. An assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty case FIR No. 87014 is registered at PS Rampur on 23.06.2014 U/S 353 332 504 IPC on the application of Dr. Bimal Negi, MO MGMSC Khaneri, District Shimla alleging therein that he was attending the patient in OPD No. 12 (ortho OPD). At about 05:15 PM, after attended the all patient, one person Sunder Singh asked him about his OPD slip. He replied that he has seen all patients and no any OPD slip is pending with him. On this Sunder Singh started abuse him, twist his finger and obstructed him to discharge his duty. Case is being investigated by HC Devinder Kumar I/O PS Rmapur.   

2. A Cheating case FIR No. 26/14 is registered at PS New Shimla on 23.06.2014 U/S 420 467 468 471 120 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Raj Kumar S/o Sh. Nanak Chand R/o Sehgal Niwas, Near DAV School, Sector-IV, New Shimla alleging therein that according to death certificate issued by MC Shimla, his father had died at IGMC Shimla on 01.05.1967. After that one person namely Dharamveer has prepared a false affidavit in which he declared himself son of Sh. Nanak Chand for illegally possession of his property. For this purpose, he takes help from GP Rajhana members to enter his name in family register. The case is being investigating by ASI Mohinder Singh I/O PS N/Shimla.

3. Half Marathon Run is being organized by the HP Police Department "To mark the (International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking" on 29-06-2014 at 08:00 AM, in Shimla City. There will be three events i.e. Half Marathon-21.5 KM, Mini Marathon-10 KM & Dream Run- 3 KM in the event. The Theme of the event is "Make Health you, New High in Life not Drugs" in this year. The entry to participate in the marathon is being made at PAR The Mall Shimla   and closed on 28.06.2014 by 04:00 PM.  In this context rewards for the participants are as under:-

   21.5 Kms. Half Marathon                                 10 Kms Mini Marathon

   In 3Kms Dream Run 20 prizes will be given (10 men & 10 women) of Rs. 1000/- each.

    

    

4. During last 24 hours 281 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act. 12 person's challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs. 36,600/-.
