An Accident case FIR No. 94/14 is registered at PS West today i.e. 15.06.2014 U/S 279 337 IPC & 187 MV Act on the complaint of Sh. Manvinder Singh @ Manni S/o Sh. Ashok Kumar R/o Agar Nagar, 436-B, Building M.L. Sahni, Firojpur Road, Ludhiana, Punjab, age-16 year alleging therein that he is working as cleaner in Truck No. PB-02-AX-7497 and on 15.06.2014, going towards Rampur. He was standing near his Truck at Shoghi, one vehicle No. HP-63-0634(Ikon) came towards Chandigarh with rash driving, hit him and ran away from the spot. He got injury in this leg. Case is being investigated by ASI Mast Ram, I/O PS West.

An Accident case FIR No.86/14 is registered at PS Dhalli today i.e. on 15.06.2014 U/S 279 337 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Subash Sharma S/O Sh Ghana Nand Sharma R/O Village Gulthani, PO- Deola, Tehsil- Sunni, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that he is working as a pump helper in IPH at Gumma station. Today on 15.06.2014 he was coming to Shimla alongwith his wife by HRTC Bus No.63-2962. At about 09.15 AM when they reached near Fair Lawn curb, while giving pass to the vehicle coming from Dhalli side, the Bus hit in the rock. In this incident his wife Smt. Manju got head injuries. The Bus is driven by Chet Ram S/O Sh. Narain Chand R/O Patti Jubbar Bag. During treatment in IGMC Shimla, doctor declared her dead. Case is being investigated by HC Daljeet Singh No.122 I/O P.P Mashobra

During last 24 hours 142 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under M.V. Act, 08 persons challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of compounding fee of challan is Rs.26,700/-
