1. An Accident Case FIR No. 258/13 is registered at PS West on 19-12-13 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the report of ASI Amar Nath I/O PS West that near Tara Devi a Maruti Car No. DL-8CB-1676 fell down about 200mtrs from the main road. One person namely Harish died at the spot. The case is being investigated by ASI Amar Nath I/O PS West.
2. An Accident Case FIR No. 62/13 is registered at PS Kotkhai on 19-12-13 U/S 279, 337 IPC on the statement of Sh. Shaket Ali S/o Sh. Jalal Din R/o Vill. Charubag, PO Chailnair, Teh. Kotkhai, alleging therein that today at about 3.55 pm a Maurti Car No. HP09C-1556 met with an accident near Chrubag. Due to rash & negligence of driver this vehicle fell down 100 mtrs. In which Amit S/o Sh. Naryan Dass R/o Vill. Jalth, PO Chalnair, Teh. Kotkhai got injured. The case is being investigated by ASI Kamal Dev I/O PS Kotkhai.
3. A Rioting Case FIR No. 237/13 is registered at PS Sadar on 20-12-13 U/S 147,149,427 IPC & 3 PDP Act on the statement of Sh. Dinesh Thakur S/o Sh. Rameshwar Dass R/o Shanti Sadan Lower Phagli, Shimla A/P J.E, R & B Department, M.C Shimla, alleging therein that on 16-12-13 he was executing the work of R/Wall/Fencing of the area of M.C Qtrs at May Field Lalpani, Shimla by providing M.S railing. Three Nos. of M.S pipe railing panels were fixed at site. On 17-12-13 at 11.00 AM some people suddenly removed the said railing. Next day same work was restored by M.C Shimla. On 19-12-13 Sh. Rajeev informed him that said railing have been again removed by some people and caused damages to the M.C Property. The case is being investigated by ASI Lachmmi Singh I/O P.S Sadar.
4. During last 24 hours 146 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 11 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 13,000/-.
