An Accident Case FIR No. 254/13 is registered at PS West on 12-12-2013 U/S 279, 304A IPC on the statement of Sh. Ankur Bakhshi S/o late Sh. Janak Chand R/o Sawati Niwas Danda, alleging therein that on 11-12-13 at 9-00PM when he along with Pankaj Thakur & Surinder Thakur reached near Sharog, they found that a vehicle bearing No. HP52A-4777 met with an accident. In this accident Sanjeev Kumar S/o Sh. Shankar Lal R/o Vill. Girb, PO Chaili, Teh. & Distt. Shimla died on the way when he was being brought to IGMC. The case is being investigated by ASI Harish Kumar, I/O PP Jutog.
During last 24 hours 197 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 24 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 29,600/-.
