CRIME REPORT 11 DECEMBER

                                  THREE DAY WORKSHOP FROM 11-12-13 TO 13-12-13

 

                                    For improving Police Public interface, a workshop is being organized by the Police Department at Peter Hoff. The workshop was inaugurated today by the Director General of Police, HP and Vice Chancellor, Professor  A.D.N. Bajpaye was the guest of honor. The Director General of Police, Sh. Sanjay Kumar in his inaugural address emphasized the challenges for police posed by rapid social challenges and how it is impacting police working. The Vice Chancellor, Professor  A.D.N. Bajpaye in his address focused on the transition taking places in society and how police can deal with is effectively. Professor Mamta Gupta has spoken about police image and steps to be taken by the department. Mr. Joydeep Nayaik, IG Orissa touched the aspect of Media and police image. Lastly the Mayor of Shimla, Sh. Sanjay Chauhan and Deputy Mayor Sh. Tikender Panwar expressed their views about the concept of friendly Police Station. The participants were from the rank of ASI to Addl. Superintendent of Police. Meaningful exchange of views took place in the workshop.  

 

1. An Accident Case FIR No. 252/13  is registered at PS West on 10-12-13 U/S 279, 337, 304A IPC  on the report of ASI Bhagi Rath, I/O PS West that  a vehicle  Alto K-10 bearing  No. HP63B-0153 met with  an accident  near Harinagar and fell 250 mtrs down  in the Khad. In this  incident Ms. Minakashi expired &  her father Baljinder Kumar Sharma admitted in IGMC Shimla. The Case is  being investigated  by ASI Bhagi Rath, I/O PS West.

2. An Accident Case FIR No. 191/13 is registered at PS Rampur on 10-11-2013 U/S 279,337 IPC on the rukka of HC Ram Lal, I/O PS Rampur, Distt. Shimla that tipper No. HP 06A-2770 hit a motor cycle bearing No. HP26A-0607 near SSB Complex Nogali. This accident took place due to  rashness and negligence of Driver Surjeet Singh and Motor cycle rider Rajender Singh sustained multiple injuries and referred to IGMC Shimla for further treatment. The case is being investigated by HC Ram Lal, I/O PS Rampur.

3. An Accident Case FIR No. 62/13 is registered at PS Chopal on 10-12-13 U/S 279,379 IPC on the statement of Sh. Girish Thakur S/o Sh. Attar Singh R/o Ward No. 1 Chopal, Tehsil & PS Chopal, Distt. Shimla, alleging therein that on 10-12-13 at about 9:00 PM, a vehicle bearing No. HP 08A-1497 Car came rashly from Chopal side and fell down. There was no damage to life in this accident. The case is being investigated by ASI Pratap Singh,  I/O PS Chopal.

4. During last 24 hours 350 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 12 persons were challaned under Smoking Act., 01 challaned under mining Act, 07 challaned under Police Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 43,500/-.
