An Indian Forest Act Case FIR No. 192/13 is registered at PS Rampur on 14-12-13 U/S 379 IPC & 41,42 IF Act on the application of Sh. Devi Dass, Range Officer Nankhari, alleging therein that on 12-12-13 Swapna Devi, Forest Guard Chhakti Beat informed him three person namely Sunder Singh S/o Atma Ram, Sesu Ram S/o Sume Ram, Bittu Ram S/o Sh. Ram Dass R/o Vill. Bastadhar, Nankhari cut away Four Tree of Devdar in the forest beat Chakkti, total value of stolen property is Rs 11,78,428. Accused person ran away from the spot. The case is being investigated by HC Uttam Kumar, I/O PP Nankhari.
During last 24 hours 80 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act, 08 persons were challaned under Smoking Act. & 01 challaned under Mining Act. The total amount of Compounding fee of challans is Rs. 16,800/-.
