1 An Accident Case FIR No.139/13 is registered at PS Theog on 12-10-13 U/S 279,337,304 IPC on the the statement of Sh Shayam Singh S/o Hari Dutt R/o Village Bhalech P.O. Sarevan Tehsil Theog distt Shimla, alleging therein that on 12-10-13 at 11-30 AM one Scooter No HP09A-0389 came from Theog towards Sandhu rash and negligent driving. Two person sitting on the scooter. Rider of scooter fall down in the road about 120 fit near Sarevan mode . One Person namely Aryen S/o Sh. Som Dutt died on spot and rider Som Dutt S/o Sh. Ram Dayal village Bhangadi P.O. Chokar Tehsil Sangrah distt. Sirmour injured this accident. The Case is being investigated by ASI Joginder Sing I/O PS Theog.
2 A Criminal breach of trust case FIR No. 181/13 is registered at Police Station West on 15.10.2013 u/s 406, 407 IPC on the complaint of Sh. Amit Nain S/o Sh Ram Kesh Nain R/o H.No. 944 Set -25 Panchkulla Haryana presently NHFC Transport Dhalli alleging therein that on 25.09.2013, he loaded 706 boxes of apple in Truck No. PB-11.AQ-9984 from Dhalli to Kastagi Karnatka. The owner of said truck was one Baljender Singh S/O Sh. Shaba Singh R/O Bhadshapur, Tehsil Samana District Patiyala Punjab and his partner Sh. Mender Singh R/O 338/A Sect.-7, Chandigarh. The above Truck did not reach on its destination and the truck owner sold the apple some other places.
3 A Burglary Case FIR No.71/13 is registered at Police Station Rohru on 16-10-13 U/S 457,380 IPC on the statement of Sh. Manoj Kumar S/o Sh. Kali Ram R/o Village Majhgoan alleging therein that during the intervening night of 15/16-10-2013, some unknown person broke the lock of his mother's room and stole away One pair of Gokhroo gold, Kante gold ,Baliyan gold, Chain gold, Mangalsutra gold, Tili gold, Ring gold and Cash Rs. 25,000/- Total value of stolen property is Rs.2 Lac75,000/- approximately. The case is being investigated by ASI Balraj, I.O Police Station Rohru.
4 ND & PS Act Case FIR. No 195/13 is registered at Police Station Sadar Shimla U/S 20,27,29 NDPS Act., on the Rukka of Sub.Insp. Sandeep Kumar I/C P.P. Lakkar Bazar Simla alleging therein that on 15-10-2013 he along with his colleagues was on patrolling towards cart road Lakkar Bazar etc. and when he approached on the way joining Cart road to Ridge via Satsang Bhawan found three boys smoking cigarette on the path. When Sub.Insp. Sandeep Kumar interrogated them and searched their clothes as per procedure & 0.70 gram charas recovered from the pocket All the three accused were also found smoking charas in the cigarette. The Case is being investigated by Sub. Insp. Sandeep Kumar I/C P.P.Lakkar Bazar Shimla.
5 ND&PS Case FIR .No 196/13 is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 15/10/2013 U/S 20 ND&PS Act on the Statement of Astt. Sub.Insp. Jasbir Singh I/O P.S Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on 15-10-2013 he along with his colleagues was on patrolling towards Lower Bazar Mall road Middle Bazar etc. and when he approached near Jaswal Bhojnalya Middle Bazar Simla one person came towards lower Bazar who on seeing police at once turned behind and ran away. On this said I/O alongwith his colleagues caught the running persons, and searched his clothes as per procedure. On his personal searching 70gram charas has been recovered from the pocket of accused and has been arrested in this case. The Case is being investigated by Astt. Sub.Insp. Jasbir Singh I/O P.S Sadar Shimla.
6 ND & PS Case FIR. No 197/13is registered at PS Sadar Shimla on 15/10/2013 U/S 20 ND&PS Act. on the statement of Astt. Sub.Insp. Nagdev I/O P.S Sadar Shimla alleging therein that on 15-10-2013 he along with his colleagues was on patrolling towards Lower Bazar Mall road Middle Bazar etc. and when he approached near Gali No.7 & 8 Middle Bazar Shimla one person was standing on the Lenter of Public Toilet who on seeing the police at once turned behind and tried to ran away. On this said I/O alongwith his colleagues caught the alleged person, and searched his clothes as per procedure. On his personal search 26 gram charas has been recovered from the pocket of accused and has been arrested in this case. The Case is being investigated by Astt.Sub.Insp. Nagdev I/O P.S Sadar Simla.
7 A Burglary Case FIR No. 198/13 dt.16-10-2013 U/S 457,380 IPC has been registered in this P.S on the statement u/s 154 Cr.P.C of Sh. Kapil Ritola S/o Sh. Jai Dev Ritola Holi Cottage Royal Hotel Complex Ram Bazar Simla Distt.Shimla alleging therin that on dt 16-10-2013 at 9.00 A.M his brother-in-law Sh Rishabh Amraik informed him on telephone that his neighborer Smt. Sawarna Sood informed him that locks of his quarters has been broken and the door is open. on this he reached at the spot and checked the rooms and found belongings inside the rooms was disturbed and found that Two Gold ring, Two ladies Tops Gold And two ear ring ,digital camera, Viideo camera etc.and cash about 10/15000/-, total approximately 70,000/- has been stolen by unknown persons during intervening night .This Case is being Investigated by P/.Sub.Insp. Jai Nand I/O P.S Sadar Shimla.
8 ND&PS Case FIR No.182/13 is registered at PS Dhalli on 15-10-13 U/S 27-61-85 ND&PS Act on the statement of PSI Vivek Gautam I/O PS Dhalli, Shimla alleging therein that on 15-10-2013 he informed by Security Branch employees that they caught five persons red handed to smoke the charas near Cemetery gate on this information he along with staff reached there. The Case is being investigated by PSI Vivek Gautam I/O P S Dhalli.
9 During last 24 hours 275 vehicles were challaned by Shimla Police under MV Act ,04 challaned under Police Act & 06 persons were challaned under COTPA ( Cigarette & Other Tobacco Act 2005 ). The total amount of Compounding fee of challans under MV Act & COTPA is Rs. 43,400/-.
