A wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation case FIR No.
45/18 has been registered at PS West today on 22.02.2018 u/s 341,323 IPC
on the complaint of Sh. Sarabjeet Singh Mehta s/o Sh. Prem Prem Chand Mehta R/o
Pushpi tower, Teacher Colony, ground floor Summer hill Shimla alleging therein
that when he was going to his home on the way at Baluganj Chowk, Sabudeen obstructed his way and beaten him.
The case is being investigated by HC Parkash Chand I.O PS West Shimla.

34/18 has been registered at PS Dhalli on 21.02.2018 u/s 341,323,427,34 IPC on the statement of Sh.
Ramesh Verma S/o Late Sh. Bhoop Ram Verma R/o Vill Karyali PO Mundaghat Tehsil
and Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 21.02.2018 when he alongwith his wife was
going to home from his field his brother Rakesh Verma and Kamlesh Verma
obstructed their way, beaten them and also broken the mobile phone.. The case
is being investigated by HC Karam Singh I.O. PS Dhalli.

35/18 dated 21.02.2018 u/s 341,323,504,34 IPC has been registered at PS
Dhalli on the statement of Rakesh Verma S/o Sh. Bhoop Ram R/o Vill Kayali
PO Mundaghat Tehsil and Distt. Shimla stated therein that on 21.02.2018 when he
was working in his field his brother Ramesh and his wife Nisha obstructed his
way and beaten him. The case is being investigated by ASI
Suresh Kumar I.O PS Dhalli.

An Accident case FIR No. 30/18 dated
21.02.2018 u/s 279,337,304A IPC has been registered at PS Theog on the
rukka of ASI Ajeet Sing I.O. PS Theog alleging therein that on 21.02.2018 one
maruti car No. HP10A-1434 met with an accident near Pwach, Theog due to rash
and negligent driving of driver of the vehicle. In this accident 03 persons
namely Bishan S/o Mahi Ram R/o Vill Bhalon PO Nandpur Tehsil Jubbal, Parkash
Chand s/o Atma Ram R/o VPO Jhagtan Tehsil Jubbal, Brij Lal S/o Sh. Bhagwan Dass
R/o Vill Ghayan PO Kathasu Tehsil Jubbal died on the spot and Sunder Lal S/o
Sh. Mangat Ram R/o VPO Kathasu Tehsil Jubbal sustained injuries. The case is
being investigated by ASI Ajeet Sing I.O. PS Theog.

An Excise act case FIR No. 11/18 dated
22-02-2018 u/s 39(A) HP Excise act has been registered at PS Sunni on
the rukka of SI Surinder Thakur SHO PS Sunni alleging therein that today at
about 08.30 AM when he alongwith staff was on patrolling duty near Mundaghat he
intercepted one person namely Mheshi Lal S/o Lt. Sh. Kundan Lal Vill Juni PO
Mundaghat Tehsil Sunni Distt Shimla and recovered 12 bottles of country
liquor. The case is being
investigated by SI Surinder Thakur SHO PS Sunni.

An Excise Act case FIR No. 29/18 dated
21-02-2018 u/s 39(A) Excise act has been
registered at PS Kumarsain on the rukka of ASI Hem Chand I.O PS
Kumarsain alleging therein that on 21-02-2018 during patrolling alongwith staff he intercepted one
person namely Daleep Kumar S/o Sh. Jagat Ram R/o Sainj Tehsil Kumarsain Distt
Shimla at Sainj Bazzar and recovered 12 bottles of country liquor Una No-1
from his possession The case is being investigated by ASI Hem
Chand I.O PS Kumarsain.

A Grievous Injury case FIR No. 46/18 dated
22-02-2018 u/s 323,325,504,34 IPC has been registered at PS West on the
complaint of Sh. Parkash S/o Sh. Prem Kumar R/o Yunik Villa Chakkar alleging
therein that on 18-02-2018 Hunny, Happu
and Saini beaten him brutally. As per the MLC Report MO opined that in this
incident he sustained grievous injuries. The case is being investigated by HC
Ravinder I.O PS West.

During
last 24 hours 259 vehicles were challaned under MV Act, Compounded=
168, fine realized Rs. 54,300/- and 31 persons
challaned under Smoking Act & fine collected Rs. 3100/-
